Dear Doughty; I am sorry but "your projections" about Prescription drug are in error. It did not cost us $500 billion. It was $425 billion. You are in error. Since you have demonstrated that you also are not infallible and perfect, we expect you to resign immediately.

After all, since you demand perfection, it is only reasonable for us to expect you to live up to the standards you demand. Since you have all ready failed the 100%er test, we must ask you to leave. This is ONLY for "True Conservatives" who are perfect and flawless in every way.

Hmmm, curious, have you EVER missed a day of work? Been Late? Made a mistake? Well seems YOU are not perfect either. We expect your resignation on our desk by 6am tomorrow.

Nominating Meiers wasn't the equivalent of jaywalking or not putting a quarter in the company coffee kitty. It was more like digging up your neighbor's flower beds, an act which requires forethought, effort, and gives one plenty of time to reflect on its advisability. Bush either has a tin ear, politically speaking, or he just doesn't give a damn what his base wants. By the way, I'm not saying I wouldn't take him over any of the Democrats, but I'm sure not going to let him get away with this crap and pretend that it's ok with me.

You are absolutely right, after all any failure in one area supercedes any successes in all other areas.

Illegal immigration needs to be dealt with much more forcefully. And because of that one area of failure, this entire last six years has been a complete and utter failure.

Preach it brother!

Glad to see you're coming around. You forgot about how we need to start deporting illegals and build a wall.

Who DOES that leave in the 100%er's world who is not now a "Traitor"? Guess that just leaves you all back where you started. With Pat Buchanan and less then 1% of the vote. Boy when you only will accept 100% of ONLY what you want, sure is hard to find ANYONE you can vote for now.

I think reasonable people can agree that 100% agreement with conservative principles is unrealistic. But can you agree that 0% means the base is being sold out by someone with an [R] after their name? If so, then the discusion should justly center on what grade to give Bush and the Republican congress.

Spending: F
Borders: F
Supreme Court: A
Taxes: B
Regulations: F (Sarbanes-Oxley etc...)
Federalism: F (Raich vs. Gonzalez, no child left behind, etc...)
The War on Terror: F (they lack the moral courage to even call it by the real name: the War on Islam)

Face it, Bush and most of the Congress are what the Pew Center calls Pro government conservatives

Pro-Government Conservatives also are broadly religious and socially conservative, but they deviate from the party line in their backing for government involvement in a wide range of policy areas, such as government regulation and more generous assistance to the poor. This relatively young, predominantly female group is under substantial financial pressure, but most feel it is within their power to get ahead. This group also is highly concentrated in the South, and, of the three core Republican groups, had the lowest turnout in the 2004 election.

Clearly, there is more than one kind of conservative. The Republican groups find common ground on cultural values, but opinions on the role of government, a defining feature of conservative philosophy for decades, are now among the most divisive for the GOP.

I believe YOU will see the humor in this one even if a rather cranky handful of others here do not.

You are right. We need to start deporting immediately. Let's get up posses and go house to house, demanding to see all Hisipanic-looking people's papers! No probable cause required! Just round up all those mexicans! If we get a few hundred citizens in the mix, no big deal.

If someone were to dig up one of my flower beds, I would thank them and ask what they had in mind to plant.

You're equating massive government spending on social programs and amnesty for 11 million illegals with being late to work?

Wow.

No, I'm asking for the master plan. You know, the incremental strategery that will answer all the, uh, unpleasantness that 12 million gate crashers bring to the party. Oops! At this rate, in 20 years you'd better revise that number to around 35 million.

Oh, so THAT'S why we shouldn't deport them! We might accidentally deport our own citizens because... uhm... help me out here?

Gee I sorry but you do realize your knee jerk criticism and "Cult of personality" attacks on anyone who does not agree with you is the exact same behavior you are accusing everyone else of doing? Clean your own house before lecturing others how to clean thiers.

You see, the lesser of two evils is still evil.

God alone is good. By default and remainder, all men and all mens' choices are more or less evil.

Exactly! That's why if your heart is pure, your vote, and your vote alone, will be enough to put a stop to it.

If you just really want it enough, you will be successful in making things work just the way you want them to be.

All of this policy talk and "reasoning" has to stop. Pure passion and a concrete knowledge of what needs to be done without the encumbrance of the "how" is the meat of the True Conservative and how we will take this country back.

Preach on!

Real citizens would have assimilated and looked like Richy Cunningham by now.
