Liberalism *today* has no great cause, has no voice of rationality only shrill emotionalism and craves power at all costs ...I couldn't agree more. Several years ago, I heard a discussion that included a feminist. She made the statement that women who kill their husbands are more likely to be executed than men who kill their wives. Later, someone said they had checked the statistics and found that the statement was not true. The feminist said she didn't care -- that it's not about truth; it's about power.

If you spot a car with 42 bumper stickers plastered on its rear end, you can bet the owner is a Liberal. The car will have the usual assortment of 'friends, don't let friends vote Republican', 're-defeat Bush'', 'nuke the whales', etc. type bumper stickers. Liberals love their bumper sticker bromides.
