You said it had been "refuted" several times.
Refute = To prove to be false or erroneous; overthrow by argument or proof
Again, let's see it.
He caved to the anti-gun feelings following Columbine to get elected.
He also ran on a Term Limit Pledge...oops!
Nice Moral Fiber, once again, Tom.
Pat taught him, "Free booze trumps all". ;)
Dude, you're one of the biggest gun-grabbers on this forum. Quit with the phonyness.
Complete falsehood! How typical of you.
Show one link for that or slink away, liar.
The irony on this is laughable.
No kidding. Please direct me to that information.
No kidding. You read it too? Please direct me to that information that you read somewhere.
Tom Tancredo (R-CO) (12/20/45) - Did not serve. According to Political State Report, Tancredo "avoided service in Vietnam by obtaining a medical deferment for mental health reasons." This and this link, from critics of Tancredo's views on immigration, are harsher in their descriptions.
I've quoted the original Denver Post article before. It doesn't say what you and the other Tancredo Trashers want to pretend that it said. It makes clear what happened.
How about this, you keep accusing Conservative Republican Tom Tancredo of something. How about YOU prove your accusations.
BASEBALL CRANK? That's the authority???? buzzzzzzz
OK, maybe Political State Report? Nah. No URL found.
The latest posting of Tancredo having a mental health issue is bordering (if not flat out) on libel. His "proof" is from Baseball Crank. I'm still waiting on the original poster of this supposed "mental health" issue to give us a link.
He was alluding to some old news stories back in Colorado that could give national political writers fodder.
"That includes a published report that illegal immigrants were part of a contractor's crew that installed the home theater system in his (Tancredo) Littleton home - something Tancredo said he had no way of knowing.
And it includes the childhood depression treatments that led to Tancredo's mental-health draft deferment during the Vietnam War."

Tancredo said he went for his physical, telling doctors hed been treated for depression, and eventually got a 1-Y deferment.

I showed you in the Denvor post where it clearly said he didn't do anything wrong. Me thinks it is time for you to refute THAT!
So then as a child Tancredo set up a scam of depressoin treatment so he could get out of service??? Is that your claim now?
One one level I would bet you have never dealt with depression and as a result you have no idea what it is actually like.
How about you do something for me that no other Tancredo detractors have done on this thread and spell out what policies Tancredo supports that you oppose and then after you do that how about you qualify that opposition with youe alternative solutions to the problems he aims to rectify?
BUT NOOOOOOO, you want to go after personal history and no matter how much spin or inuendo is needed you think it is enough to simply cast aspersions.
You act like a democrat. A far left one at that.
Spiff, I've given links for everything.
You have yet to give a single link for your "refuted" claim.
Do you refute that he claimed mental problems to get out of Vietnam?
My claim? Anyway, it appears to be true. See the links above.
