If he was a "loose cannon" then his votes would be all over the map. Instead, as evidenced by his 100% ratings from many conservative groups, his votes are solidly conservative.
Lightweight? He founded and chairs a powerful caucus which enjoys membership by the most conservative one third of Republicans in Congress. The pressure that his leadership has applied to the President in part caused him to address the immigration reform/border security issue in an unprecedented Oval Office speech last Monday evening and has caused the President to capitulate and send troops to the border.
I suppose you were out on the street for your "May Day" celebrations, too.
Do you realize that non catholic conservative churches are saying the same thing as the Catholics. Evanglicals and others spent a lot of time converting Catholics to their faith. You going to find that you just cant go tell them to shut up.

I do. And so do you, as you said it plain and clear, they are Bushbots. That answers it all. They are Johnny one-note Bush zombies with no minds of their own other than what the Prez implants in them. They complain about one-issue (immigration) Freepers, unable to see that they are one issue Freepers themselves, and their issue is Bush uber alles, regardless of any other subject matter out there. Their issue is Bush's, whatever Bush says or does must be right. They are more one issue than anyone else could ever be, because their only issue is Bush is right. Period. Which thus incorporates all issues that come from Bush's point of view.
Thus, no Bushbot has to actually think, just react. What Bush wants, Bush should get. They are myopic and see no other approaches to a subject other than what Bush says is what they should think. Talking about one issue Freepers, they are perfect examples of it. Isn't it easy not to have to think on your own. And as such they are the perfect RINO's, as they mimic there Prez, who has proven to be a RINO on so many issues. Hope next presidential election we can hire a true conservative and not be snookered again.

The public at large favors the rule of law. When it is explained in that context people are full well ready to accept it.
If you think otherwise then you indeed think that most of this nation places the church above the law. I am sorry you think so lowly of the people of this nation when it comes to the very fabric that makes this nation function.
