Im sorry but the "Offend other religions" comment dont wash with me...as my father says "that ole dog wont hunt" Clearly offending someone isnt at issue since the decision offends chirstians. Ironically this deciison offends more people than the reverse policy would have since the country is about 85% christian.

Stupidity can be found everywhere. I remember in KY when the license plates included two tiny steeples which represented the KY Derby, Churchill Downs racetrack. The intent was KY culture and history, something they are famous for.

Hundreds of people complained that the two tiny steeples could conjure up images of "gambling" and indecency, so the state had to print tiny decals to cover the tiny steeples.

Now, this business of omitting God from our money is entirely different and rather less silly. No matter what religion, other than atheism, in God we trust.
