It's phony, but who is responsible?

The GOP leads 55 to 45, but through weak leadership and the RINOs that you mention do their best to undermine us.

And who is responsible?

The very same GOP that pleads with us to vote for them? It's a vicious sycle. We are told to vote for the RINOs and we are told that the party could do more if not for the RINOs and round and round it goes.

If the GOP dies, it will be because of multiple self inflicted wounds.

It's an ideology the so-called neo-cons pilfered to disguise themselves while performing like liberals.

IOW, it's what too many "conservative" leaders ain't.

For those who asked "Who is Viguerie", be sure to read this thread:

Betrayed by Bush ( Who is Richard Viguerie?)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1636756/posts

Viguerie may no longer hold much influence with the Republican Party, but he has a history of disillusionment with its leaders. In 1981, Viguerie said Ronald Reagan's Cabinet choices, "gave conservatives the back of the hand" and complained that Reagan allied himself with "the liberals, the Democrats and the Soviets."

Viguerie later said of Reagan, "The emperor has no clothes on; just about every conservative I know is now acknowledging it."

BTW, of course you remember that Time named Hitler Man of the Year, right?

Then there's OBL, who came in 2nd in 2001:

Time's Person of the Year 2001 — in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks — was New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani. It was a somewhat controversial result; many thought that Giuliani was deserving, but many others thought that the rules of selection ("the individual or group of individuals who have had the biggest effect on the year's news") made the obvious choice Osama bin Laden.

You didn't read the article at all, did you? The man has not proposed anything other than directing fundraising efforts toward Conservatives, rather than the party.

What's conservative about going into hysterics about "divorcing" the Republican party, thus handing the democrats the reigns of power?

Anyone who preaches about "divorcing" the Republican party hasn't paid a helluva lot of attention to just how vile and disgusting the democrats have been in recent times.
