"... but you can't help but think maybe I made the wrong call" [Engleberg said]
NO DUH!!!
LOL! I was thinking that too!
Some people are very skilled at predicting the past. As Mark Twain observed, "When I was younger, I could remember anything, whether it happened or not."
The next two stops in dismantling the Axis of evil.
This is just silly.
Unless, someone told her that these Arab guys were going to hijack planes and fly them into building on 9-11, she is just blowing smoke.
How about this tip, in North Carolina there will be some drunk drivers tonight...And they will be leaving a drinking establishment.
Media prescience bump. /s
Billy is really working to establish himself, and Mrs. Bill in the top echelon of ruling the world. This couple is probably THE most dangerous alive.

You are so very correct, momf.
Defeating HILLARY IS EVERYTHING.
No matter the Sacrifice ..past, present, future.
I am a previous home owner, now home renter, with one less car... just so I can continue the battle against HILLARY because...
DEFEATING HILARY IS EVERYTHING.

Jeepers... Thanks for the ping!
That's ok, the bottom line for the N.Y. Times is shrinking as well as circulation.
I think many are coming to the conclusion that the n.y.times and wash. post etc are not good sources for accurate news.
Actually, a story ran in Soldier of Fortune about 10 years ago that was based on interviews with a former Air Force intelligence officer who was privy to the operational planning for Charlie Beckwith's Desert One mission. It was very, very heavy and very severe. It involved the use of multiple daisy cutters on the "instant mobs" of "students" occupying the embassy and billeted nearby to protect it, multiple AC-130 gunships, flights of F-111's dumping rackloads of Snakeye, Rockeye, and other exotica on the heads of the militants, and just an unholy massacre of the bad guys.
The Achilles heel of the operation was Carter's obsession with micromanagement (a personality-based flaw that even liberals concede) that loused up Beckwith's timing and coordination and led to the mission's falling afoul of the sandstorm that eventually sank it. The White House interfered with the timing of the operation so that the civilian leadership could be assured that satellites would be "up" so that they could stay on top of the operation in "real time".
FWIW, the AF officer thought that the operation was overdesigned and had too many moving parts anyway, so that it may have been a mercy that the mission failed prior to contact with the Iranians guarding the embassy.
