If the WOT fails, the same people will be sitting in the rubble, picking at their scabs and being grateful at least the illegal Mexican problem has been solved, since they won't want to come to a radioactive America.
Thank God your husband returned from Iraq safely.
You and he should stop believing the MSM, I bet that's what bothers him. Please tell him that he didn't serve in vain, people do appreciate his service, and appreciate your sacrifice as well. His service in Iraq may well have saved the world from a nuclear holocaust, which Saddam may have created, had he stayed in power.
I don't believe everything I read in the newspapers.
AQ certainly knows the meaning of the maxim which goes something like, "when the enemy is in the process of destroying itself, don't get involved."
From their pov the US certainly hasn't been a bastion of unity since 9-11 (except for a few weeks following 9-11).
Does AQ really want to wake a sleeping giant?
Or they just might be home grown! I guess that you have forgotten OKC?
Oh, that's why you think that huh? I should have figured as much.
====
PRECISELY.
Thanks for that one. From me and all my progeny.
AQ would have preferred Kerry and I think they would have loved to hit the USA before Nov. 2004 and they were unable to do it.
Well said!!!!!!!!1
Trust me on this one. I have a whole different perspective on this.
I believe that 24/7 365 5 1/2 years MSM and Democrat Bush bashing has taken its ugly toll on conservatives that would newer be so negative otherwise. I refuse to be pulled in.
Sure can, millions. But I would prefer Jesus Christ, since he IS the world's best hope.
I don't even know where to begin with that!!!!
That was probably the most asinine, presumptive conjecture Ive ever gotten!
First off, where did I ever say I was talking about one single issue?
Secondly, when did I say the President needed to take my feelings into any consideration? (Whats wrong with expressing a thought?)
Thirdly, my husband served in Iraq for 16 months. He did very dangerous work. He was out on the streets of Iraq everyday taking fire and avoiding IEDs. Most people would say that being a Military Wife is a sacrifice to her county, unto itself. Do I need to explain to you in extreme detail what it is like to have your spouse deployed 6000 miles away and put into extreme danger? Think of all the things a military wife has to do to keep everything
and I mean EVERYTHING going like clockwork while her husband is constantly under fire?
Perhaps this doesnt mean anything to you.
And lastly, I dont give a rats patootie what you think of me, really, but I would appreciate it if you would kindly thank my husband for carrying the torch of freedom, and allowing you the opportunity to continue to speak so horribly about a soldiers wife.
Sleep well.
Bush is moving into his lame-duck period, so it's the next round we have to prepare for.
Life is full of choices and decisions. The best we can do is study what the world's leaders do. Many criticize Pres. Bush but I challenge them to do better. I despise armchair quarterbacks.
Which is why I asked your reasons for it. If you don't want to share them, fine, but, no, I don't just trust that your reasoning is sound because you say so.
Sorry you choose not to explain. It's such an interesting position it would add a lot to the discussion, and you claim to have insider information. I just can't fathom it as you've written it, because the evidence to the contrary is so overwhelming.
Probably true but I don't think it made that much difference to them.
and I think they would have loved to hit the USA before Nov. 2004
Again, probably.
and they were unable to do it.
I just can't be convinced that anyone can know that for sure.
