I believe someone who was actually at the vote or had access to the info coming from the vote claimed it wasnt true. So what if its not true? The theocracy in Iran will be no different than 1930s Germany even without "badging"..

Actually I see nothing new here for Islam!
I remember reading & see artist renderings of 'Dhimmi (i.e. people of the book, Jews, Zoroastrians, & Christians)' of people of Ottoman Empire who were Dhimmi and wearing their required identifying clothing & 'badges'. Remember Islam is a religion who thinks a time when the world was right & 'golden' was 600 to 800 AD. For even its moderate adherents its a faith that is fundamentally backward looking.

The writers point is that no matter what the exact status of this particular law, it is entirely in keeping with the history in Iran/Persia.

The amazing thing is whether Israel will challenge any type of coding for citizens there in Iran and whether they will wait until the Russians and Chinese complete their transactions with Iran to build a serviceable nuke transport rocket. The USA will do nothing now as we know since Condi and W have made that statement about military responses. So what will Israel do if any of this is true and if Iran actually gets rocketry which will indeed hit Israeli homelands?
