No bill this year. That's good news. Let's have this out in the elections coming up. If we can send some of these traitors in the Senate packing maybe they'll get the message.

I wonder how we can acutely limit terms?!!!Seriously-the day is long past requiring only 1 6 yr term in the senate.

Yes, yes, yes on Senate passing their Illegal Give-a-Way Bill. That way, there no longer be any question separating "the sheep from the goats."

Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., predicted that without significant changes, no final compromise would emerge from House-Senate negotiations this yearI agree.

Bush, who often peppers his speeches with Spanish words and phrases, had little to say about the Senate votes while visiting the Arizona-Mexico border
And so the Senate votes to take a great, big dump on Americans... just before wiping their a$$es with the American way of life.
Bush should be ashamed.

Good Riddens. But I believe this was their plan all along because we are in major election year.
They get to pander during the elections about what they were pushing for in the Bill. Everyone will be whoring for the latino vote promising latinos will get two chickens for every pot if they vote for them.
Then after the elections, they break all their promises as usual.

No bill this year.... meanwhile 8000 illegal aliens per day pour across our southern border each day. How much longer will the hard working tax paying suckers of America continue to tolerate this racist invasion?

I love your analogy. I'm still chuckling

"What the president has said all along is that he wants to make sure that people who become American citizens have a command of the English language,"
So the Senate then voted 58-39 on saying that English is the nation's "common and unifying language."
Soooooo... what this means is that absolutely nothing will changed. Bilingual ballots, language assistance... it all still stands.

"Bush toured an unfortified section of the border in the Arizona desert Thursday"
Unfortified? Do we have forts on the border that I'm not aware of. I think we should but I haven't heard of them.

Hope Sessions (and you) are correct. This nation-maiming bill needs to die. If it doesn't make it to the President's eager pen this year that's great news. Much can change by the time of the next Congress to allow this legislative treason to be killed off in 2007.

Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., predicted that without significant changes, no final compromise would emerge from House-Senate negotiations this year Oh good, that should give time for another 60 million people to get their butts here and be ready for their new life of relative luxury.
Of course it will also allow the politicians to get through the next election without having anything bad to defend themselves on.

Immigration measure said likely to pass- Sen. Sessions, "The Senate should be ashamed of itself." At first glance, that's a scary headline. For those who don't always read the entire article before they get excited, (like me. LOL), they are going to read it as though it has become law.
Thank God for Sessions and the others who are fighting for Americans. Come election time, we have to run Conservatives against the opposing incumbents so we can throw the RINOS out of office!!

Sadly, not many of the RINO's are up for re-election. Hopefully, we can start the conservative crackdown in the next two years. I personally can't wait to go to the ballot box and tell McCain where he stick his presidential ambitions.
