Few analysts expect more than marginal improvements, short of another Sept. 11. What a retarded thing to write.

But, in many ways it’s true.

What the Europeans saw on September 11th was a nation that had its citizens slaughtered wholesale. They saw Americans (justifiably, of course) weeping in the streets at the mercy of an evil foreign force.

They loved us that day. Le Monde put “We are all Americans” on the front page. We were one of them.

It was only when we acted un-European – when we brushed ourselves off and went about destroying those who brought that day upon us, directly or indirectly – that the hatred began.

We’re not like them, so they don’t like us anymore.

But you can bet your ass that none of them will ever dream of going to war with us, so let them hate all day.

We can wash our big American balls in the warm shower of their tears of dislike.

"Pew Global Attitudes Project"

Nothing like a good poll to manipulate world opinion. One talking point that rapidly emerged with the lefties "We've used up all our good will we had after 9-11" or some variation thereof.

Then why do they keep coming here.

They may hate us but they love our money!

The dislike is accelerating among youth, Stokes said. For example, 20 percent of Britons younger than 30 have an unfavorable opinion of Americans, double the percentage of 2002.

How do we resolve this? Put conservative teachers and professors in our schools. The Dem's in this country did the smart thing when they all went to school in the 70s and 80s to become teachers and professors. They use their agenda and bias in their teachings and what do you have then? PRESTO....IGNORANCE AND HATRED FOR THE U.S.A.,and there you have it.

So can we get some more conservatives in the classrooms of this world...PLEASE?!?

You raise an excellent point through your rhetorical question. Of course, the underlying message is directed toward white anglo-saxon males.

No wonder the world opinion is bad. Our own media are telling them over and over just how bad we really are.

Good observation.

In war, it is customary for governments to use propaganda to "win hearts and minds" to their cause and to vilify their enemies. The war against Islamofascism is no different in that respect. What is different now is that our enemies' propaganda is being produced by Hollywood, the news media, and the Democrat party.

["In my judgment, you're going to see a lot of this hostility disappear only when various countries really feel they need friendly relations with the United States, probably for their own security,"]

Tough $#!T

I'd tell them to ask for help from Sudan, Iran or maybe Russia.

Any surprise when you have Michael Moore and others lying about America while they are on tour in Europe and elsewhere.

One of my favorites: Moore complaining about Americans being violent while in Europe... where two nasty world wars were fought last century.

In other words, they will like us if they need us.

Majorities around the world think Americans are greedy, violent and rude.

Strangely enough, the Swiss think we're greedy, the Germans think we're violent, and the French think we're rude.

Majorities around the world think Americans are greedy, violent and rude, and fewer than half in countries such as Poland, Spain, Canada, China and Russia think Americans are honest.

As the US has drifted toward the left in recent years, this is the natural result.

Let's see how quickly this attitude changes when these countries need something from us. They won't give 2 seconds of thought before extending their outstretched hands.
