Now if gov't work is being subsidized with municpal or state tax-exempt bonds, you have a leg to stand on---but forget giving the info to politicians---they will only coverup the evidence. Here's the deal:
FREEPER ACTIVISM: If the bonding agents for tax-exempt state and municipal transportation and highways, state and municipal school bonding, utilities bonding, and the like, are ignoring illgal activities, the use of fraudulent documents to get work permits, and the like, the SEC should be advised of your concerns. EMAIL enforcement@SEC.gov.
FREEPER ACTIVISM Most bonding agents conducting state and municipal business are registered broker-dealers and members of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). NASD and SIPC should also be contacted regarding your concerns about illegal activity, fraudulent doucmentation, and the like.
FREEPER ACTIVISM Banks doing business with states and municipalities that are conducting illegal activity are jeopardizing bank patrons, shareholders, and depositors and should be reported as follows: The Ofice of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is the primary federal regulator for national banks. The OCC's Customer Assistance Group is available to assist customers with questions or complaints concerning national banks. Email to ustomer.Assistance@occ.treas.gov.
General information about the Customer Assistance Group is available on their web site: http://www.occ.treas.gov/customer.htm.
You can reach one of the OCC Customer Assistance Specialists by calling toll free number, 1-800-613-6743, Monday-Thursday, 9-4, and Friday 9-3.
And of course any misuse of tax-exempt bonding monies should be reported to the IRS (nailed but good).
Yep, they start getting what's barred for the rest of us.
Yep. This will be the most expensive cheap legal labor the world has ever known.
If you think the Euro countries as basket cases with high taxes & failing economies, well, check out the U.S. of A. in about 20 years. Instead of trying to solve our current entitlement debt crises, we are busting a gut to make them twice as unsolveable.
Seems to me it could be argued that as long as these people are illegally here they could be considered NOT subject to the jurisdiction thereof... but if we offer them legal status (as in guest worker for example) the case for not allowing citizenship to anchor babies becomes fatally flawed.
Unfortunately this will take an Amendment to fix. Simple to word: "born to a citizen of" for born. But difficult to get done.
I've heard George Bush call America a democracy many many times..
Must be what he aspires to, a democracy.. You know Mob Rule..
Because thats what 20 to 30 millions illegal and legal aliens are a MOB.. Legal aliens probably increases that number..
The de-Republication of America is what has been happening for many years.. Democrats are FOR "a Democracy" evidently now republicans are too.. Pity there are few left that even know the difference between a Democracy and this unique in all the world Republic.. Even the President.. unless he does know but wants a democracy ANYWAY.. His actions as president seem to prove that.. especially his latest speech..
"We have to eliminate the incentives for them coming here in the first place, and the only way to do that is to punish the employers who hire them, cutt off their welfare freebies, and repeal the anchor baby laws. No jobs + no welfare + no automatic citizenship for their offspring = no reason to come. But since this is an effective solution expect it to happen when pigs fly."
Yes, we keep circling around ineffective 'solutions' precisely because the effective ones will be TOO effective and end the setup (illegal employment) that certain people want.
"Seems to me it could be argued that as long as these people are illegally here they could be considered NOT subject to the jurisdiction thereof... but if we offer them legal status (as in guest worker for example) the case for not allowing citizenship to anchor babies becomes fatally flawed."
100% correct.
Those here illegally or on tourist visas should *not* have their babies born here granted citizenship. Anyone on a legal long-term visa, yes.
Moving on up. Flogging your blog moved you up 17,851 spots in the last week. Good work!!
"The Republic is dead. Long live the Democracy."
Great line.
¡México no es nuestro amigo, Presidente Bush!
"Woo woo, look at me. My ego's bigger than I am." LOL!
bump
Better yet, let's set 'em up right at the border in Texas where the Mexican Militia and drug smugglers can shoot at them and tell their wives that they know where their children go to school.
Let's see how long the National Guard will remain unarmed after that!!
We have some tools now but do not use them. Social Security is sitting on some 9 million fake or duplicate numbers. Credit card companies know right away when there is a problem but the governmenr turns a blind eye to these law breakers. We can gradually rid ourselves of most of the undesirables as they break the laws and get caught.
How do we even know that the person caught today is the same caught last month? Example, Jose Lopez sneaks in and is caught but gives the name Juan Gonzalez. Next time he is caught he gives the name Jesus Martinez. Can't they do the same thing to our court system as well and then crawl back into the shadows of their safe communitites? We should take fingerprints, eye scans and DNA on all illegals caught, no matter where they are caught. They then could work on the walls for 3 months since they came here to work, paid minimum wage since that's good in Mexico.
How about this?
Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, "Improper Entry by Alien," any citizen of any country other than the United States who:
-Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or
-Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or
-Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact; has committed a federal crime.
Violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months.
Repeat offenses can bring up to two years in prison.
Additional civil fines may be imposed at the discretion of immigration judges, but civil fines do not negate the criminal sanctions or nature of the offense.
Furthermore....
Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act in 1996; (Deportation and exclusion procedures were consolidated, effective April 1, 1997.)
-The president can deport any alien who was deemed dangerous.
Thanks
