Well - if Bush does not send in the National Guard to protect the citizens from alligator attack, he will just lose my vote. Same here....I'll never vote for him again. Looks like we've gotten back to hyping animal attacks like they did during the shark mania days.

"Liberals have been reduced to bitching about the weather. Viva Bush!"
Liberals have been wacko about Bush since before he was elected. Remember in the summer of 2000, when the economy started to slide during Clinton's final year, they blamed it on Bush, saying that he was "talking down the economy"? And I recall a letter to the editor in my local paper - a week after Bush first took office - blaming Bush for some corporate layoffs that were announced that week, layoffs that had undoubtedly been planned for months.

Excellent observations. We need to keep those things in mind.

That's an ugly picture you've just painted.

This is excellent news. We've all been waiting a long time to see this happen. A huge thank you to all Americans and Iraqis that have worked so hard and risked so much to make this possible. My eyes are dripping just thinking about it.

Actually, the Kurds are majority Sunni, with, I think about 20% being Shi'ite, and another 10% being Yazidis--not Muslims at all, but adherents of a gnostic sect that worships a demiurge, "the peacock spirit", which supposedly fell into evil (hence the world being a mess), but repented and now seeks to undo the evil it did. (Not suprisingly Muslims and Christian alike have long called the Yazidis 'devil worshipers'.)

"Notice how the MSM has stopped taking the "Bush Polls" since he been kickin butt!"
ABC/WAPO Poll has Bush down to 33%, the lowest in his Presidency. Main reason? IRAQ!!!
ROFLMAO.

I think Goose meant he played soccer for four years before he graduated in 1981. Which would mean he played soccer with the Iranians for two years (at least) before they had to go.

Notice how the MSM has stopped taking the "Bush Polls" since he been kickin butt! I just wrote on another thread MSM has run out of "Bush numbers plunge" polls - have not seen those for a few days have we.

"This is an exceptionally successful president."
Agree. Sometimes I think some conservatives that are calling him a rino and worse seem to forget no president is going to get his/her way on all issues. It takes a willing congress make new laws.
At any rate. We shall get a decent idea in the next few weeks as just how united this Iraqi government is going to be.
