Sad to say, I'm not shocked that Rush liked this speech. Yesterday he was acting like he was worried about it, but then after he saw the speech (which was just as awful as he said it was going to be), he magically turns around and said it was good. He's done this time and time again, and what a shocker, it's almost always in Bush's favor. That's why it is so hard to listen to him anymore.
Yeah, and now I hear Rush is talking sense too. That'll really send 'em over the edge.

Me either, it was a great speech. I watched it twice just to be sure.
That's why it is so hard to listen to him anymore.

remember after katrina - Rush saying that the rebuilding of new orleans was going to be some great moment for conservatism - showing how private investment, and not government, would rebuild the area. LOL!

Awesome, comprehensive speech by the President....one with which I totally agree.
It is strict and fair. It is ethical and logical.
The president's Christianity is showing:

Heb 13:2 - Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.

Actually he hasn't as anyone who actually listens to him knows. Interesting how anything that doesn't validate your knee jerk hate for Bush is some how "shocking". Curious how blind you are to the fact that YOUR mindless hate and bigotry is EXACTLY what you are accusing Rush of. You claim he is mindlessly supporting Bush.
