I'm looking forward to the day when Tony tells greggy to knock off the personal attacks or he'll revoke his press pass. What? Tell off the most important reporter on the planet???
To: George W. Bush
I guess you would have been cheering and defending if he'd declared himself El Presidente For Life. Hell, you wouldn't have known anyway.

OK, he said it. Round them all up and "you'd have a big hole in your workforce". He believes America can't run without them.
In other news, Rush burst into laughter as soon as the call ended and he went to commercial. I bet he was mocking how nervous Cheney was. He's really laughing now.

Just ask the question if Rudi won the primary would you vote for him? Then watch the scolding begin.
I know. Personally, I prefer the GOP. But not a GOP who looks like Dims.
I think the Stupid Party must be tired of responsibility and is trying to lose future elections. That would explain much of what they've done.
To: Sensei Ern
5. I may stop posting to Rush's thread for a while if the standard level is to call everyone who disagrees with the President a lib. Come on Ernie...we've got to stick together.

...Then remove any and all 'laws' that are simply ignored and not enforced. A law that is scoffed at by both the law breaker and the law abider does damage to the legal system and to good laws.

Redfeather, there has been absolutely NOTHING which has suggested that anyone is trying to unite the US and Mexico. Talk about a welfare bill! Now, I might think about conquering both Mexico AND Canada and taking their oil...but...
Realistically, some amalgam of the House and Senate bill has to pass. Even then it's not going to FIX the problem until we fix the BICE bureaucracy.

I am so sick and tired about hearing that BS about *needing* them for anything. Too bad for these greedy businesses (large or small) that can't make their business model work without breaking the laws. Go out of business then if you can't function without illegal invaders. When will this country wise up and stop listening to all of this BS being shoved down our throats??????
(You're right I am angry about this nonsense, IT HAS TO STOP!!!!)

IMO, the closeness of the race has more to do with the current national media than it does with the candidates themselves.
If there were two or three more conservative news channels to combat the plethora of liberal broacast and cable news networks, then I think you would see quite a bit greater margin in conservative voting.
To: Sensei Ern
It means the illegals feel they can say or do anything they want right now since they virtually walk across the border with impunity. They have yet to see any real opposition to their invasion yet.Let's hope it(true border security) is on the way but so far in the past their opposition has been home watching t.v.

Found this one today
He who walks righteously and speaks what is right, who rejects gain from extortion and keeps his hand from accepting bribes, who stops his ears against plots of murder and shuts his eyes against contemplating evil--this is the man who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress. His bread will be supplied, and water will not fail him. Isaiah 33:15-16

The solution to the hole in the work force is to get rid of government welfare.
To: rodguy911
We need to use fear like Rush just said. Make illegals feel very uncomfortable when there here.

Good post. The "need argument" pales when you consider the "need" is based on illegal actions.

Good post!
I agree completely with #1, #2, #3, and #6.
I agree with the first sentence in #4.
As for #5, please don't do that!!

The last caller (from Mass) before the break plugged her site. NumbersUSA.
From the NumbersUSA homepage:
"NumbersUSA Action is a non-profit, non-partisan, public policy organization that favors an environmentally sustainable and economically just America."
If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck....
To: dotnetfellow
Absolutely. The letter nets continually mimic the DNC stalking points and Joe 6-pack gets brainwashed. But all that is slowly changing.
On the positive side the New Media is growing, ever expanding, while the old media/drivebys are slowly fading into oblivion.
