Who knows - why do we CONTINUE to make ourselves dependent on Oil from terrorists instead of diggin up our own, like yesterday. Perhaps the world's leaders wanted there to be this charade, this dance between the nations - It is their foot in the door of these nations so they can reign in democracy, make another buck??? Could they foresee that these nations would become obsessively hellbent on wanting the land of Israel, would not take no for an answer, would black mail us. Maybe - if they knew 30-40 years ago what the Bible said regarding the last days, but spilled milk.

Actually, I was talking about why the US continues to do so little about our dependence on M.E. oil which in turn funds radical Islam which if continued will end up getting us killed.

I'm curious where, exactly, does Scripture talk about Israel being carved again shortly after its return? Are you suggesting that this is the beginning of the "End times".

Since Israelis won't be able to live in Arab countries there is no reason to accept the security threat of millions of Arabs in Israel.

In the far future I hope the middle east is so peaceful and democratic that there will be normal trade, traffic and immigration between all the countries... but there is not point in pretending that is the situation now.
