Recall that KARL ROVE recently quit his policy making position at the White House. Nobody was challenging Katherine until the last day and I think Karl Rove is somehow behind the smearization and opposition to Katherine. These kind of activities is why he resigned from the policy making position.
They are all trying to destroy Katherine, including Rove, former golden boy who can't do anything right these days.

I must agree here, Karl Rove seems to have been against Katherine Harris and her run for Senate since July of last year !
But even if that little consiglieri leaves the picture completely, the damage he has done to the Harris Campaign maybe unrepairable now . .
