Oh, you have it correct; it's the foamers who don't!
Thanks for that link... it looks really interesting and useful

"Flaglady, it's the MEDIA picking and choosing what you hear from "turncoat Senate Pubs, some Reps, and Prez Jorge Bush" that is stirring you up.
You're falling for soundbites from interviews 50 times as long. That's EXACTLY what the liberal media wants you to do."
You know, your phony condescension is wearing real thin. To think you accuse so many of your fellow Freepers of having no minds of their own, and that we are all swayed by the very MSM that we all despise, is an insult of very great magnitude. Which makes me think you are a one dimensional Bushbot and Johnny One Note. Your silly point will be ignored by me as well as many other Freepers who know how hollow your "argument" is. Find a new one.
Yes if they are breathing when the bill passes and are in the US, they pass!
Just out of curiosity I Googled the alledged "Topological Geometry". Apparently you are wrong. An exact phrase search came up with 10900 entries in .13 seconds.

BRAVA!
Here it is. The strong-arming. Vote our way or else.
"BUt don't most Republicans in the Senate envision that the House bill when combined with the Senate Bill will have tough border controls and thus not be a open border bill."
Republicans have control of the Senate. If they intended to have strong border control they would have put it in the bill. No one knows what would happen in a conference committee with the House pushing for secure borders and the Senate pushing for amnesty.
Except when they arrive in the Congress all of a sudden the roots just don't seem to hold. They just stick their fingers in the political wind and follow it blindly to nowhere.
Great post!
If we lose this ISSUE we lose our Contry. Wake up.
See post 365. Hope you don't mind me helping out here. We seem to have one amongst us that likes to post drive-by, arrogant, proudful of him/herself statements. I've posted some replies to nopardons but havn't gotten a response. Must only be interested in trying to make themselves look important. "Oh look at me!!!! I've found the Caps button!!!!" How rude.
I do not deny we have some liberal bishops in the USA. That situation is slowly improving. However Cardinal Mahoney is not the end all of Catholic thought on this immigration(legal or otherwise) issue. He is perhaps the public face of this issue because unfortantly he is in California. The Catholic Church has recognized that there is a social aspect to the Gospel. Catholics are not stuck between the false choice of some Socialist communist liberation Theology on one hand and do nothing as to those porblems on the other. The Church has always had a consisent policy as to this issue. It says the State has a right to control it borders but also states that a State has certain obligations how it treats people(illegal or legal). This has been formulated by Popes from Pius XII that was very Pre Vatican II.
That is what many Catholics are trying to do as to this immigration bill. The problem that Catholics are facing is that many families might be torn apart by certain proposals that are being circulated. Many Catholics ,such as Sen Brownback, and other Evanglicals find themselves in a situation where neither side is going to be pleased by a stance that tries to honor both sides in this debate and the moral obligations of both. That is the State and the illegal alien.
My reps are two dems and one repub. I hate them all. I didn't vote for any them. I vote for conservatives regardless of party. It's just such a novel idea not many can grasp it. They can only understand the lesser of two evils.
Tough luck for me.
Country. sorry.
Yes, Dems HAVE become GOPers...RONALD REGAN, for one.
Nope. That is not to say that I am completely thrilled with everything that's going on, of course. I am not too thrilled with the rhetorical abuses on here as of late, either.
Then, I guess that FR doesn't have the monopoly on the stupids, uneducated, and easily manipulated by the MSM and the Dems. ;^)
That's true...with one caveat; DO YOU LIKE YOUR CANDIDATE/PARTY TO WIN ELECTIONS?
