Campaign slogan: "things go better with Bush".
Our founding fathers, men like John Adams, would have been outraged at the idea that there might be several Presidents from the same family elected by the population of our nation.
Except, of course, for John Quincy Adams!
FORGET IT, FORGET IT, FORGET IT.
The GOP needs new, non-Bush, non-McLame blood.
Don't bring up facts! I'm here to rant!
Don't forget Kennedy. Don't they have more offspring to bring to the forefront?
I'm Bushed
(The hit piece on MSNBC on Gov. Allen's charted plane trips is indication they are concerned w/him)
Yes, they certainly have the dead people vote locked up.
Quite frankly, the top 500 are probably keepers - I agree, actually I have no problem giving anyone a free education as long as they make decent grades.
Uh, didn't John Adams son become President? Or maybe it was sarcasm.
Hell, even Mitt Romney had the sense enough to kill in-state college tuition rates for illegal aliens. For that matter, even the Massachusetts General Court, arguably one of the more, um, "liberal" state legislatures in the country, had the good sense to kill that crap!
Reagan = total immediate amnesty
AND:
What is now called "open borders"
Sandra Day O'Conner
Anthony Kennedy
Tax increases after the cuts
Best friends with Tip O'Neil, Lib Dem Speaker of the House
Immediate withdrawal after Marines were slaughtered by terrorists in Beirut
Other than once targeting Khadafi, no War on Terror
Spending out the wazoo (even if some for a good cause - building up our Military and Defenses - which Bush has done, too)
Accepting entitlement programs; no reforms
I've had enough GW myself...but yes I am aware that he is better than all Dems and many RINOs
ditto on the Senate though
Reagan tried amnesty and it failed. Which is why it is completely absurd for anyone to try amnesty or a guest worker program now.
I don't begrude anyone for making a mistake. Even great presidents make mistakes. However, I do begrudge politicians seeking to make the same mistake twice and not learning from history.
Some would be more than pleased to do so. The Bush worship by the GOP is as sickening as the Kennedy worship by the DEMs.
Obviously if John Adams' son had become President then he wasn't a "true Conservative" in the mold of the Founding Fathers. After all, we all know that a free population electing several members of the same family is the same as an oligarchy or a Monarchy, right?
