I know it too. It's taken them awhile, but they've managed to undo the revolution of 94. Fortunately, the low 30% approval ratings, anger and resentment toward the GOP, will hopefully play out the same way the Miers nomination did.
The GOP needs to keep hearing us, and the liberal voices will be sidelined. Things may change yet- hopefully!

Things can definitely change and we should be hopeful. However, I am not sure that things can change if conservatives continue to stick their head in the sand over the issue of Leftist infiltration of conservative institutions.
If we could get even a small percentage of conservatives to face up to the fact that this is happening, it could be nipped in the bud. However, people find this very distasteful. They do not like the idea of looking at a person who claims to be a conservative Republican and saying---even to themselves "I did not believe that that person is really a Republican."
Of course, there are real problems to look out for. This kind of thinking can easily lead to hysteria and do more harm than good. That is part of why everyone ignores it. The problem it is, if your enemy tries something on a small scale, and it works, and you ignore it, the scale gets bigger.
