Here is the land I recently bought and my youngest daughter swinging from a cedar..I made the swing seat by knocking off the top of an old bar stool and drilling a hole in the middle. Being as I didnt want to climb the tree to get the rope over the branch..I used my fishing pole, tied a rock to the end of the line, and finally got it over the right branch. After tying the rope to the fishing line I pulled it up and over the branch and stuck the other end through the loop I had made...pulled it tight and presto...tree swing. :D
