Every war fought and won has had its problems.
This one is going well for us, far better than being reported by the traitorcrats and their mouthpieces.
The border is not as intertwined an issue with the WOT as the single issuers are saying. Period.
BTW, things are a lot better than you say in other areas. And yes, there is a lot to do that we can do better.....so let's do it.

Don't listen to what they say, they use the war on terror like the Nazis (I'm not comparing GOP to Nazis, they are miles apart) did with the Reichstag fire. If you don't vote for us the commies will come and destroy you.

Oh yes, the GOP was just SOOOOOOOOOOOOO effective, during the eight horrible years of Clinton! After all, Clinton got through THE biggest tax INCREASE, in the history of our nation and to sweeten the pot, it was unconstitutionally
retroactive! He passed so many EOs, in a way as to make most of them uncorrectable. And then, there was the claiming our entire reserves of smokeless coal as UNMINEABLE; thereby giving his pals in Indonesia the ONLY sellable smokeless coal reserves in the entire world.
Of course, then there's the selling and/or just giving away our national SECRETS to the Chinese, without which, the Chinese would be at least 15 years behind, re all kinds of technology and nuke info.
Not to mention the fact that he turned down getting OBL, THREE TIMES, when he was being offered up on a silver platter.
Clinton's ignoring, completely and utterly and claiming that the first bombing of the WTC buildings were "just" really a N.Y.C. POLICE MATTER matter. And throw Gorelick's WALL into that mix as well.
There's lots more, but yeah....we "survived" those eight years beautifully and it wouldn't damage this country one bit, to have the damned Dems retake both Houses and the White house. /sarcasm's

Yes....the government in Mexico...which cause us so much trouble...would be darned near as hard to change as Iraq's has been...
If I lived on the border, my land, actually on the border, I would build a fence on my property, US GOVT., be damned.
And, if enough of the landowners did that...then the left over "federal land" which is where we run into trouble politically, should be manageable with guards, drones, etc.
I think....lol
However, we have seen how Chavez is ..and if someone like him does get power in Mexico, it could go from bad to worse, because he wouldn't hesitate, I don't think...to really start a border war.

If you don't vote for us the commies will come and destroy you.Frankly, that's a pretty shallow statement. It's pretty clear the alternative party would allow the Islamofascists to gain tremendous strength. It's true, not as a political ploy, it's simply true.

If you don't vote for us the commies will come and destroy you. As opposed to those who are voting for the Constipation Party, which would throw in the towel in the WOT or the Libertarian Party, which advocates open borders.

yes they are hapless are they not, the GOP has become their god and it is sick to watch them defend the blunders and in my view traitorous actions of the last few years : Private property rights -gone COngress did not respond to SCOTUS..Open borders with millions of illegals flooding the country from texas to all the states-yet they argue about a secure border as if it's an option..free speech taken away thanks to McCain (R)..BIg socialist drug programs and Dept of Education expanded not one cabinet dept has been downsized or just plain eliminated..on and on with more and more pork spending -the GOP is wallowing in Big Business money and pandering to conservatives while doing their masters bidding.

How about voting for the party of McCain who tries to tie our hands behind our backs, or the party of Specter who called for hearings about wiretaps and will use it to impeach his own president who actually backed him against a true conservative.
Face it, we're screwed if we do and screwed if we don't. Atleast we'll take the Rinos with us if we go down. Then after 2 years of intolerable democratic rule, where nothing much gets done because they are terrible at governing, another 1992 happens. Better in happen in 2006 than 2008 when a president is elected.

The border is not as intertwined an issue with the WOT as the single issuers are saying I suppose that depends on who we are trying to protect from the terrorists and how important it is to protect the American people from Al Qaeda as to whether or not the WOT and National Security go hand in hand. Me, I see the borders is part if national security and being weak on national security while claiming to be the best party to fight the WOT is a idiotic to say the least. It's definately losing credibility with me.

Specter calling for hearings about wiretaps and will use it to impeach his own president... What a joke he is. Shameful. The GOP seemed to be doing so well.

I don't think there is really any cause for despair. FR has always been a magnet for the disaffected third-party types. They are represented here in a percentage FAR outnumbering their real numbers in the general population.
They are loud and vocal and full of passion. They will take over threads here denouncing the President and the GOP. At times, it seems like they're even a majority here because they feed off each other and most reasonable people know better than to bother engaging them.
But they are a joke. They vote for losers every time. They apparently enjoy being out of power and being mad about it. It's what they are.
Look at the third party vote in 2004. It will take a microscope. It's all sound and fury signifying nothing.

More Americans have been murdered by illegal immigrants than were killed in 9-11, and all the battles in the war on terrorism.
The same way Clinton ignored radical fundamentalism, and allowed 9-11 to happen, Bush is ignoring an easy way to sneak into our nation unknown to anyone, with out going threw even basic security, and is allowing the next wave to happen.
To: Dammit
They vote for losers every time I've voted straight republican since I was old enough to vote. The GOP has left me. I didnt leave them. 2006 may be the first time I vote for a 3rd party.

Actually you wont..at least not in the senate. Chaffee and Snowe are comfortably ahead of their dem challengers. It is conservatives like Santorum and Talent that are in trouble

A world where Pelosi is majority leader AND John Conyers will head the Judiciary Committee...too horrible to contemplate.

which 3rd party is running where you live?
