"1906...THAT year had the 2nd highest number of 8+ world wide in recorded history."

I have been researching several books about earthquakes and volcanos in the vicinity of the US. One thing I have discovered is that there seem to be extended periods (20 or 30 years) about every 90 or 100 year (at least the past several hundred years) when there is a noticable increase in earthquakes and volcanism. I think we are currently in such a period of increased activity, and it probably still has a few nasty surprises.

The last one I believe began with Krakatoa in 1883, the Charleston, SC earthquake in 1886, continued with Mt. Pelee and 4 other volcanos in 1902 around the Caribbean Plate, San Francisco EQ in 1906, and culminating in Katmai volcano in Alaska in 1912.

The previous cycle included the great Mississippi EQ cycle of 1811-1812, the Caracas, Venezuela EQ of 1812 that killed 10,000 people, and the eruption of Tambora in 1815 that gave New England the year with no summer. That cycle began in 1783 with the Laki fissure volcanic event in Iceland that killed 90% of the livestock and starved 10,000 of the people. There are also those who believe that the disruption of agriculture in Europe as a result was a contributing factor to the French Revolution. Ben Franklin, who was our ambassador in Europe at the time thought the strange weather and atmosphere occurring at the time was caused by the Iceland events.

I hope the worst of the current cycle is about over, but I would not be surprised if there are other nasties due to come our way. May guess is for a major EQ in California or the Mississippi/St Louis area, or something big in the South Pacific, either EQ or volcano.

I don't think Bill would agree per se with your interpretation.

A great portion of the docs posted at his site speak of God doing special things in our era with Blood Israel.

God's promise to Abraham about Abraham's seed was God's thanks to HIS BUDDY, ABRAHAM. AND GOD'S PROMISES ARE IRREVOCABLE. Otherwise, the universe would have collapsed in chaos long ago.

God will eventually pull the church and Blood Israel--the remnant accepting Him as their True Messiah--God will pull those two redemptive threads together into one united whole.

This is evident in the 4 and 20 elders seen seated on their thrones in Heaven. I believe that were your contention correct, there'd be only 12 for the disciples.

Certainly there are mysteries aplenty. It's clear from Scripture that there will be, at least briefly, a return of the animal sacrifice in a rebuilt Temple. We don't really know the point of that in the over all scheme of things, it seems to me. God could have arranged things such that after The Cross and Resurrection, there'd be no such return to animal sacrifice. After 2,000 years, what's the point? There must be one. We simply don't know--at least with any certainty.

Certainly in terms of Christ--every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Clearly the NEW COVENANT is in place.

But the New Covenant was birthed of the Old Covenant. Perhaps some insight is gained into God's attitude from the Scripture about not forsaking the friends of one's father. God is not in the habit of leaving any faithful behind. He is CERTAINLY not in the habit of voiding an eternal promise to His Buddy, Abraham--and Abraham's seed.

Thanks for the concern!

Actually, I was up from Midnight that morning, working away on legal stuff when around 4:30 my windows overlooking the ocean started shaking.

At first I thought it was a 747 taking off. Then I thought it was a landslide.

Luckily no tsunami came to wipe me off the little island cottage I live on that faces to the South.. :0)
