what about the "i wanted to be a marine but i was told i was a woman" story?
Perhaps I'm remembering it incorrectly, but I thought it went: I wanted to be a marine but they said they didn't take lesbians.
I thought that's where the whole "don't ask don't tell" thing came from.

If you can't become an athlete, an astronaut, a doctor, a scientist, a mathematician, or a marine - you can still become a lawyer that's it in a nutshell. (by the way, I thought she's supposed to be 'brilliant" - well, actually, I never thought she was - but you know what I mean...)
The problem is that Washington is filled with people who couldn't make it in the real world - so had to turn to politics, where bald faced lying, conniving, corruption, blackmailing ....is considered Job qualifications....

Just what we need in charge. I'm surprised no one else picked up on this. Some people are destined to be proverbial 's#it magnets' primarily due to their lack of foresight. I hope this was caught on film for use in a campaign ad should she make the mistake of running for higher office.
