I don't ask to be taken off their mailing list. They send a postage free envelope and I use a magic marker and write "STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION", "BUILD A FENCE" AND "FLAT TAX" across their questionaire and send it back.

I've received many of the same beg letters. Here's the website with the fake George Bush pesos. I print them out and send them back with the letter. They are getting the message.

I am so angry with President Bush over the Illegal Immigration, High Gas Prices, the LBJ type of war he's fighting in Iraq and the high budget decifits that I have not only hung up on RNC calls twice in early April, but I am now shredding every George W. Bush picture various Republican Party organizations have sent to me over the years.
Thanks for destroying the Republican Party, you moron!

Don't be angry. Fight for your conservatism by either backing the true conservative candidates in your area and then nationally or, as I recently did, go to work for a third party that supports conservatism. If we don't use our voices soon we'll be muffled permanently.

I've actually sent those back. Good fun. Just printed some more now that election season is here and I'm sure to get more phony RNC "surveys" and other solicitations for undeserved contributions.
Let them eat Pesos is right.

High gas prices are a mix of simple supply and demand and stupid congress. Not Bush. Bush has repeatedly tried to get congress to open up federal land to drill.

No refineries built in the US since 1978. Now requires approximately 800 permits before the first dirt can be moved. Excessive on-site inspections during construction of the refinery. Can't drill off the west (left) coast. Can't drill in large portion of Alaska. Can't drill off the east (left coast sister) coast. Can't drill in large area in Gulf of Mexico where known hydrocarbon deposits exist. We can thank our congress and senate along with lobbyists who have bought our government off. If we started drilling today and found a large deposit of oil it would take 7 to 10 years to get it to market.

I get the same crap. My solution is to tape a penny to the solicitation and then send it back denoting my disgust with the way the Repubglican party has "led" the country. Think of it, they spend about $0.12 per letter (Return postage paid) to receive a $0.001 donation. If that does not send the message and wake some of these folks up to reality, then the party deserves to join the ranks of the extinct and I'll vote independent!
Personnaly, I would suggest all Freepers do the same to send Mr. Melmahn(?) and his legions a message that we are tired of the lack of leadership from within the party.

The outcome of withdrawing support of the Republicans is the same as voting for a third party: it will install the Democrat candidate in the office of the Presidenc y- maybe another clinton! (small "c" intended)
