As long as such cases are treated equally, such as "Wanted" posters depicting animal research scientists or Halliburton executives.

Yep. The reprehensible Neil Horsely will never be heard from, again. Unless he goes back to his, ahem, activities, with barnyard animals.

Still a travesty from a First Amendment perspective. Free speech may not be popular or tidy, but it's still supposed to be free.

Um, I thought the Supremes struck down RICO applying to abortion protestors, so why wouldn't that apply here?
To: SmithL
It is not about money, it is about doctors lives. What about the lives of those who can not defend themselves?

This is an atrocity. SCOTUS failed once again to protect our rapidly deteriorating free speech.
Of course, there are no $5 millon judgements against hateful, assassination promoting liberals:

Agreed. These guys have saved no lives and won no converts. You are in error. If something happens to cause mothers to miss their baby shredding appointment 20% will not reschedule. So, if an abortionist had 15 baby shreddings scheduled on a Friday, but Thursday night a Saint of God lays down his life and offs the abortionist or burns down the abortuary, then 3 or 4 of the innocents will have been saved from being made into dead baby puree. Let me add that I'm not advocating assassination or arson but just observing the effective truth. I would turn in anyone plotting to commit such a crime.
As for converts: I don't think anybody is switching sides except for guilt ridden, baby shredding mothers.
It was not about converts or hearts and minds in 1973 nor is it now. It's about which side will impose it's will on the other side.
Observe that there's been a million dead shredded babies every year while GWB's been in office. Those numbers are the numbers of failure.

Dude,
No one on FR is more pro-life/anti-abortion than I.
But, advocating the murder of abortionists is beyond the pale.
It is murder just as abortion is murder.
