I hope you are aware of the consequence: DEMS back in power. As a conservative, is THAT what you really want, to cut off your nose to spite your face?
Maybe the consequences will be a set of candidates who actually listen to their constituents. The first step toward rebuilding the party.

Bogus. I'm an investor, and I've never done anywhere near this well in my entire life. When Dems win Congress in November it all vanishes.
How you doing in the CNBC contest?

The Dow is at a six year high...yes, investors are abandoning the GOP in droves.
To: TXBSAFH
LOL! The only ones I know of are those who use terms such as there being no difference between the Democrats and Republicans. They abandon the GOP every election.
Here's a tip for you, you can leave thirty times, it still only counts as once.

Thank you.
No, I am doing well better than 99 - 00.
Heck, I've banked double digit returns since Jan 30th.
Of course, many back then did very well, but throwing the enormous increase in my investment properties into the mix with securities investment outperforms that period in spades for me.
I'm preparing to take profit and option some short positions to protect the rest.
We will see what 11/06 brings.

Democrats beat Republicans in raising political donations from the financial industry, the first time the party outdid Republicans since 1994.And we all know what happened that election cycle!
To: CWOJackson
In the last go around, they certainly pulled in 4 figures from this contributor and also got a lot of grass roots action from me as well.
This time? All GOP requests have been returned with one dollar and one peso.
I'm not kidding.

Important news for the zealots. If you hear about your neighbors abandoning the GOP, you live in a conservative district. So overwhelmingly so that your vote is meaningless because your GOP congressman is going to win regardless and there is NOTHING you can do about it.
If you are more moderate and rational and understand that victory is the only way to prevent the Democrats from asserting an extreme, radical leftist agenda, then you probably live in a district that is moderately conservative and vulnerable and you are the sort of person we need to volunteer your time and money for your GOP candidate.

I have left. In 2003. I am a Conservative independent. I will support individual conservatives, but the party is dead to me.

Business Weak reports - what. This poor excuse for a publication has been knocking the President and Conservative Americans for far too long. You only get so much mileage out of the strategy of the lefties putting out these stories.

Apparently someone is picking up for your missing donations. It must be some of those investors who are abandoning the GOP. Who blames them, with the Dow being so high and all.
To: FairOpinion
As a conservative, is THAT what you really want, to cut off your nose to spite your face?Surely you're not suggesting the Democrats may waste more money than the Republicans? I don't think that's feasibly possible.

Since you left in 2003 your loss is old news to the RNC.
To: al_again
you and the GOP better start believing. I'm a conservative and I will not be voting for the Republicans this election cycle Im sitting on the fence and waiting to see if we deport the illegals. If we get another Amnesty, it will be the straw that beaks the "elephant's" back for me.

NewsMax is a reputable conservative magazine.
You forgot the sarcasm tag.
To: hgro
With the record the DOW has with this President, in particular right now. I guess they expect people to believe this BS.
To: no dems
This is stupid. The most length of the article is about how Republicans are failing but then at the end there are two sentences stating the RATS are not likely to do any better.
I'd hope to kiss a pig. It doesn't matter how bad Republicans get--they're still 10 times better than any RAT.
I'm sick of the talk. We need to ride the backsides of Republicans and at the same time emphasizing the fact that the RATS would be a total disaster.
To: CWOJackson
They still keep asking for money. I send the envelope back empty with a note telling them why.

Of course, the Republicans deserve what they get for sticking their head in the sand on this issue for the last few decades (starting with Reagan). Now it may bury them
Good post. - And it is true that they will get what they deserve but we won't.
We don't deserve this betrayal and neither does America.
