Bush has suffered a bloodletting in the court of public opinion. Having his outgoing spokesman look like the poster child for post-traumatic stress disorder every time he went to the podium didn't help much.
-----
There is not much that can be done to change the way Bush "looks". His legacy is shot and strictly by his OWN doings. Tony will be a breath of fresh air, but only a 180 degree miracle could in any way repair what Bush is, and has done, and continues to try and do. The horse ran out of the barn quite a while back when "compassionate conservatism" became openly defined for the conservative voting public.
Good article, thanks for posting it.
Tony has MORE than enough Cowbell!
in the story i was talking about Scott looking as though he has PTSD not the president, maybe i did not make that clear, what i think Tony brings is confidence which Scott seemed to lack, now that is only preception, but preception is what we see on TV and how we decide
Thanks much i unabashedly admit to having wrote it :)
LOL! Cool! Then I'll say I esp. liked the end part about Christopher Walken. His "the continental" was about the only truly funny thing on SNL for years.
By the way, I hope Tony sees this.
Welcome to the new Tony Snow Show, an event that could squelch the Helen Thomas-David Gregory Show.

Thanks for that article - and for the line that sums up my own hopes for Tony's success in that new job!

I sent it to him and he liked it.
thanks for a dork like me i could not help but ask...
thought you might like my latest
Nice piece. As a fan of Tony's for years- I'm happy to see him portrayed as he is- bright, witty, even-tempered, extremely knowedgable and the PERFECT man for the job.
Snowflake ping:)
Scott McPinata.
I wish Tony would run for President. He is what we need in the WH in '08.
haha no worries
BTTT! :-)
Anyone predicting a president's legacy two years before the president is out of office is, uh, being silly, to put it kindly.
