And I am sure that you would call Dan Quale a mental midget when he misspelled potato?

The media will not only NOT apologize, but as of this morning, our CBS affiliate is still reporting that Limbaugh was arrested--no clarification.

What that means is that he can move to expunge his criminal record in 18 months. He doesn't have any criminal record to be expunged. He has not been convicted of anything. The charge of doctor shopping is going to be dropped.

It's amazing isn't it? The double standard leftists have re: rich conservatives (like Rush, that did it the old fashioned way....by earning it)....and rich leftists (like Teddy 'Hic' Kennedy, sKerry, Rockefeller, etc, who just had to be born to have the $$$).
Funny...I've never heard ANY leftist express disdain for Teddy for being a rich, fat, white guy.

That is entirely beside the point, don't you think? The point might possibly BE that Rush took the pain pills in lieu of having to have the back surgery. I've heard the back surgery makes other pain seem like a walk in the park, and I don't blame him for avoiding having it performed. I would. The pain pills relieved the pain enough so that Rush could keep working without having the surgery. I also suspect that Rush is a workaholic. (Ergo, how he went from having no money to being quite well off. He EARNED it.)
"Out of all the years I have listen to Rush, I don't recall him ever announcing on his show that he was taking time off for back surgery."

As much as he has done for both Bushes, one of them should pardon him of any and all ALLEGED wrongdoing. You are a nut. Pardon someone for a crime that results in 18 months probation ?

According to the Palm Beach Post, Rush arrived with his attorney at the Palm Beach county jail. Surrendered and was booked on a warrant charging him with "doctor shopping," when a patient illegally deceives multiple physicians to receive overlapping prescriptions. He was photographed, fingerprinted and released after posting a $3000 bail

I understand, from both Rush and Sean Hannity who also explained it, that the required surgery involved access through and near his vocal cords. For obvious reasons, not a good idea for Rush. Anyone else remember these discussions?

I feel that Rush just has an addiction and does not have any back problems as he claims. I don't play golf, but I can imagine that playing golf involves allot of back movementMy dad was a golf pro, played at least 5x per week for 40 years with a lot of back pain from an injury in his thirties. I play a lot of golf also, and your theory worthless.

Is it my imagination, or does it seem that all the politically motivated indictments are always timed so the news breaks on Friday?

I have a lot of pain in my feet, but I tape them up and do a lot of hiking, walking and running. YOU got to play with pain, not wimp out like you liberals.

Caspar Weinberger's indictment was certainly timed, but you'll never get the prick that did it to admit that.
To: texasmountainman
I'm not a liberal. Can't stand the them. Can't even think of the last time I voted for a Democrat. Just because I am not a Rush Limbaugh fan makes me a liberal? Some of my views might lean a little liberal depending on the subject.

Too late! You'll never get the idiots to stop repeating, "Rush was arrested, Rush was arrested."

And I am sure that you would call Dan Quale a mental midget when he misspelled potato? Dan Quayle didn't misspell "potato," it was the media that distorted the incident. Read his book Standing Firm for his account.
