Olney, Maryland? Mr. T's? The Sandwich Factory Mr. T? Is that place still open? Use to go there to watch Holly Garber many moons ago.

One in the same!! Though they are all gone now. A small strip shopping center is soon going in where Mr. T's Sandwich shop once stood. All the buildings except the historic house are gone.

Madisons in the pics is the old Cockoos Nest.

A lot has changed in the last 10 years, some for the better (better department type stores - don't have to travel to Wheaton or G-burg), some for the worst (no smoking in the restaruant's bar).

Just got back from Walter Reed and checked the thread one last time for tonight. There were a lot of out of town FReepers, first time WR FReepers and some who hadn't been there for a wile. We had well over 30. the "regulars" were a little short so the other were a welcome site.

Looks like we'll have a BIG crowd countering Fred Phelps tomorrow at Bethesda Naval Hospital.

Another fantastic freep by DC Chapter of the "lil' grumpies" from Olney. I can just hear them as they march to the tune of Wizard of Oz flying monkeys..."Oreos, I need some Ooooreos."

Is it Vietnam yet? No, we won this war because we didn't listen to the moonbats this time! A better question would be "Is it like the Communist invasion of Afghanistan yet?" since they also won and faced occupation resistance. Answer: No, we instituted free elections instead of our own dictatorship so most of the people love us.

That sounds like a great future thread on how silly and clueless moonbats can be!

Just finished resting up after a long Friday/Saturday. We have 9 additions to add to the 3Fer list. One is tgslTakoma's new MOAB. It went to Walter Reed, Bethesda Naval and Olney.

Olney's FReep started out slow but turned into a real interesting and exciting FReep. You'll have to wait for the AAR to read more. HINT: The peaceniks aren't so peaceful and nonviolent..

That is now a scary tune you planted in my head. And the moonbats are clueless about the real world which the next AAR will support.
