Okay, this is the most surreal news of the year.

Interesting times.

I'll miss his show, too ... (sigh). But, he'll get a much bigger audience at the press conferences. Can't wait for the live threads. :)

In the past few months since joining the Snowflakes I've posted this suggestion a few times, that Tony replace Scott. I hope Tony takes up my suggestion of "Tony's Angels" and lets some of the FNC ladies fill in for his radio show while he's in the White House.

Will Tony still FReep with us once in a while?? We should start a volunteer FReeper service to mow his lawn and watch the kids once in a while! :)

Liberals will claim that Tony Snow is a conservative tool planted by Fox News. These are the very same liberals who had NO problem with George Stephanopoulos of the Clinton administration now working for ABC News.

Don't you think that after his being employed at FOX and so closely affiliated with that network that he probably doesn't want to be accused right off the bat of playing favorites and being partial to that network??? I would certainly think so!!!

That's one of the first things the press corps looks at in impartiality in their competitive world...

Best wishes Tony. You will do a good job. Its a no lose situation really - there is no where to go but up when it comes to white house communications.

Hopefully Tony will use his experience knowing what real people are talking about and saying on radio and the blogs, and bring that sense of realism to the white house.
