I am sure that Georgie Stephanopoulos felt the moral obligation to inform his CBS audience in great detail about Ray McGovern's activities in VIPS, connections to Joe Wilson, his extreme political leftism, his anti-semitic views, etc. etc. CBS would not ever want to put on an "analyst" with no objectivity and pretend that he should be taken seriously, now would they???

It's called "keeping your eye on the ball"...or in the case of the opposition, creating multiple distractions that make one look away while dirt is made. Maybe even some nite-soil. And thus viably does the opposition appear to keep their hands clean. Still Dirty Basards though...
Consider what crucial issues; War, SS, immigration, taxes, et al, where COngress has ignored THEIR sworn responsibility and actual reason for being..a true "raison d'être" if you will. Instead they shluff it off onto Cousin George's fault.
