"If he is allowed to go, I wish him luck and safety, and I hope that he finds the leader in himself that he seeks. In time, the citizens of England may need that leadership."
Nope, they need it RIGHT FREAKING NOW! They apparently have someone who sees himself with responsibilities to his people; they really need to encourage that. Far too many royals in far too many countries have see the privilege as their due, not a response to their duties and responsibilities. This is one reason royalty is a dying breed.

I have to admire his bravado and willingness to put his life on the line.I agree 100%. He sounds quite sincere. Way to go Prince Harry!
I imagine he just wants to be a good man and do his duty, but he's also setting a great example. I think that's one of the beneficial features of the monarchy in the modern world.

Outstanding young man. He could simply live the ultimate life of luxury with no pressure whatsoever. He chooses the front lines over a life of debauchery. Presented with the same choice, I wonder how many would make the same choice.

Kids do dumb things sometimes.Right. That's all that was. Does anyone actually think he was sympathetic to the Nazis? Just a stupid mistake that should be forgotten.

"He must be trying to find himself. Second in line, after his brother. Looking for his own spot in history?"I thought that Euro-history was that the second and third sons wound up in the military and then the church, or the other way 'round.
First son got the castle and chattle, fourth or so wound up in the colonies..

It's either that, getting busted for smoking weed again, or spending the rest of your life writing about and collecting rare postage stamps.

What do I know about that.
I'm just a descendant with Scottish, English (Anglo-Saxon and Celt) blood as well as Cherokee.

Speaking of blood lines, I wonder if Harry knows the results of the DNA tests that were rumored to have been done. If they didn't match the rest of the Royals - uh-oh.

Ivan,
If you've time,
Can you briefly explain Clarence House and the other big, not noted on maps buildings along side Cavalry Walk (right name?).
I just got back from two weeks on your side of the Atlantic, saw too little, paid too much, enjoyed the pubs;
but have no idea of the roles those houses/agencies (?) play.

Technically, I don't think he could serve in the House of Commons if he wanted to.

His last name is 'Windsor'; 'Wales' is his father's title and is used as a courtsey.
