Sara Bloomfield, director of the US Holocaust Museum, with First Lady Laura Bush, looks at a photograph of Anne Frank. Germany agreed to support opening a massive trove of World War II records on 17.5 million victims of the Nazi regime, after six decades of highly restricted access.

Regarding the truly churlish behavior exhibited with increasing frequency on FR, all I can say is this...As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. [Proverbs 23:7].Well said, and I'm sad to admit it's one of the reasons I switched from posting to lurking. Life is too short, etc. Great article, and the Barney pictures put a big smile on my face! Many thanks.

HOAX: This Internet video image provided by Marc Echo Enterprises shows the words 'Still Free' painted on what appears to be presidential jet, and the real Air Force One taking off from Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. This 'tagging' of the presidential plane was a hoax, the pranksters responsible for the grainy, two-minute Web video revealed Friday. They rented a 747 in San Bernardino, CA, and painted it to look almost exactly like Air Force One.
BTW, the hoax plane is on the left (where else!).

The hoax plane.

I read the AP article about his ride today, and really wanted to see the pictures. Me too. Maybe the White House will release a photo or two tomorrow. [crossing fingers]

I don't see a close resemblence via that bronze sculpture.
Maybe it's just me who thinks so.
Thanks as always for the Dose today!

Hate to say it but that bust doesn't look like Dubya...It isn't a great likeness, but when they start doing bronze busts it does mark the passage of a president's gradual passage into history. Sigh.

To: Miss Marple
Hi Miss Marple. Yes, busy news weekend, but the President has been enjoying the private part of his trip, so there are no new photos. Maybe tomorrow.
