How about some D-5 Trident missiles, combined with B-1, B-2 and B-52 bombardment, and a batch of Tomahawk cruise missiles to mop up anything that escapes the D-5s and the bombers?
I like that kind of "varied means".

Naw, she's talking some sort of diplomatic tactic, not the use of force.
She said the United States had a number of "diplomatic tools at our disposal to persuade the Iranians that they really need to come back to negotiations." She did not elaborate.
I'm sure Iran is scared witless.

Instead of touring the world with Brit Jack Stray, she ought ot be supporting Rumsfeld and the brave warriors who are doing the job that neither she nor her predecessor could do.

She has supported Rumy. But. She has a specific job to do at State - diplomatic stuff - and she is doing it well. I also think she is doing a good job at cleaning up the State Dept. as well.
