Interesting development. I thought the guy had gotten off but I guess not.

Arrogant bastard went on O'Reilly. Arrogant enough to be one of the marchers holding the "No One Is Illegal" signs we've seen recently.

Be a shame if it got out about that chip the US Government implanted in him. Could just be a rumor.

"Interesting development. I thought the guy had gotten off but I guess not." Did seem that way from earlier accounts. This smirking POS gets to go live in some stinking Muslim sh*t hole now.

This is a
MAJOR black eye for the University of Florida.
Good for the federal prosecutors and the F.B.I.
This is big news for the ivory towers who shelter the commies, anarchists, terrorists/jihadists and other scum-like vermin.

Where's he going ??
To: rod1
All the news stories made it seem like he had been an innocent martyr to right-wing Islamophobia. I guess we "Islamophobists" get the last laugh. Don't expect to see this story on the evening news, though.

Not saying much for the Prosecutors or the jury when the defendant turns around and pleads guilty to what they couldn't convict him of. The lying media said it was because he was broke from the first trial. Too bad.

The St Petersberg Times must be deeply saddened.

Sami Al-Arian Pleads Guilty to Conspiracy to Provide Services to Palestinian Islamic Jihad
I guess his mistake lies in the phrase "conspiracy". There appears to be no problem for Americans to sell services to Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

But the sickening thing is to took so many years to get rid of this smirking POS, and that the university where he was running a "think tank" at first defended him until public outrage changed attitudes. He should never have been allowed in the country in the first place, let alone been given a government (academic) job. Hope he enjoys living in whatever Islamic hellhole will take him, along with his wife and five devil's spawn. Hope that chip we implanted in him stays put, so we can make sure he never darkens our shores again.

"........Al-Arian's agreement with the government calls for a recommended prison sentence of 46 to 57 months in prison, based on a five-year maximum statutory sentence. Al-Arian, 48, who has been in custody since his arrest on Feb. 20, 2003, has agreed to stipulate to deportation to another country by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement once his prison sentence has ended. Al- Arian has lived in this country for approximately 30 years.........." Thanks for the update. {Bttt}

He was found not guilty on some charges, some were deemed a mistrial. It was up to the DoJ as to try him again or not. Guess they pled it out. Now will he go to jail or simply be deported?
