I'm fairly sure you knew that was a general statement about the mob that has been hounding those boys and the media and all those people squalling about making an arrest when there isn't even any evidence to arrest them on.

listen, i am sure you'd like to think that you are the sole impartial observer of this case on this thread, but all you have done is expose yourself as the least informed. i feel as if one of my kids has walked in, in the middle of the movie, and asked me what is going on. her story and it's variations have been reported in many news accounts posted as links or sources on FR. if you are interested, please read them.

Could be. If they used latex. There are plenty of other materials out there ~ and doesn't Duke have several programs studying new chemistry.

I agree. It's clear to me this poster is defending the supposed victim even tho the evidence so far shows the boys may be victims of a false claim. The poster has no intention of being informed of the facts.

I once had a job where out the window I could see a plaza with a fountain, several benches, lots of pedestrians and several homeless people. One time a homeless lady was sitting on a bence conversing boisterously with an invisible friend. A homeless man was walking by, stopped and started to yell at her. "Hey, you're crazy, there's nobody there. Hey, what's wrong with you? You're nuts! Nuts!" He animated his points with wild hand gestures. That went on for a while and he walked off.

My point? Don't be the second crazy homeless person! She can't hear you!

I challenge anyone to read the thread you quoted and it won't take more than a minute to figure out who came up with the goofy idea that something was created in a Duke chem lab to prevent DNA from appearing.

We don't even know the victim's name for God's sake. How is "her" story changing? How can we know of any changing story by a victim who is so far unnamed?

Then you must think what you believe so far, from your responses. Do you think you believe the Duke boys raped the lady? If so, why?

We've only heard their side of the story so far and all they are claiming is their innocence.

The DA has come out and stated a few things to support the claim of rape but it far outweighed by the likes of Bill Bennett, et al.

I would like to wait until the trial is over to make judgment.
