Now, to me, that sounds like a recylced "leak."
My stomach just turned as I read the article, Howlin. Nifong is going with her statement, even though it may be that she didn't get to the hospital until 5 or 6 am, no DNA, and her changing story.
If that's accurate, where was she for those 4 hours?

Therefore, it makes NO sense to me that police would interview the La Crosse players. Obviously she'd taken the drug before she'd arrived.

The only real news from Kevin is that the defense lawyers are going to a judge on Monday to get a rebuke for the cops trying to talk to their clients.
He also said that the defense says Kim's account doesn't corroborate Mangum's, but there's also an anonymous report circulating that Kim's story does corroborate Mangum's, but he doesn't put much credibility or validity in the anonymous report.
Prosecutor Mark Herlbert of Kobe fame talking about the pressures on Nifong and Nifong is in a tough situation. He's somewhat sympathetic to Nifong, but doesn't seem to have anything useful or important to say - just filler and noise. Ronnie Camille, editor of NCCU's paper, Campus Echo, and he says they haven't heard much about the second dancer (Kim) and she's kept a real low profile. He also says that what he's hearing from other students is that they want to talk about something else and move on. LOL! I wonder why! It sounds like they no longer believe her so, rather than admit that, we get the same "Let's move on" crap we got from the Clinton machine. Maybe Jackasson and Bumb-ton won't surface in Durham after all. I just hope Nifong gets wind of the apparently waning support for the Mangum. It might slow him down a little bit.

I agree. Miller is very professional. he seems to grasp the fairness and accuracy concepts underlying journalistic reportage.
Now Mike Sheehan is on, baffled that Nifong would go forward if he knows the case is bogus, so he's of the opinion that Nifong MUST have something.
Donna Spilbor on now, making a good point about the lack of DNA in cases where it isn't present is because most women don't report the assault in time. In this case, because it was reported very soon, the DNA should have been there.
Kimberly is more than I can stand, and she's moving on, after getting the last word in, which was yet another Murphy-Grace style perversion of the known facts.
Maybe Big Story Primetime will offer a more balanced stance from the host. I'll DVR it and watch later. I'm too enraged now about Nifong, the cops, etc., going forward with this steam-rolling and their ethics violtations to take anymore of it for now.
