You're right. For Americans like Kennedy to fight for the right to subjugate others, to fight to have second class citizens is disgusting. The Mexicans exploitees aren't the only people being dehumanized by the process -- the "slave masters", the exploiters, are also being dehumanized. It's creepy banana republic stuff. A second class citizens mentality is a throwback to a shameful period of our history. Awful. And where cheap labor is exploited, innovation suffers. Moral society suffers. The country suffers. What is the GOP thinking?

As I've stated on this thread and others, these illegals are the scum of Mexico and among the most stupid you'll find. They are qualified to pick fruit and, as you point out, it's a make-work rathole.

The collective IQ of America is being watered down to room temperature by the posturing the politicians do to this gaggle that should be shoved back across the border.

It's socialist Mexico's problem. Mexico is crossing the border from socialist to communist and is a very real enemy of the United States.

The sorry state of affairs in this nation is a testament to the disgusting American political class.

This is the only country on Earth that thinks it's not sporting to consider our own interests in choosing immigrants. Try showing up in any other country on the planet, illiterate and penniless, and announcing: "I've seen pictures of your country and it looks great. I think I'd like to live here! Oh, and by the way, would you mind changing all your government and business phone messages, street signs and ballots into my native language? Thanks!" They would laugh you out of the country. What seems not to have occurred to the "NO HUMAN BEING IS ILLEGAL" crowd is that this is a country, not a public park.
