as I said above - have the MSM run a loop of a SWAT team busting into a church to pull out a bunch of illegals - and you'll have 60% of the americans supporting amnesty in about 5 minutes.

your intentions are good, but you need to think ahead a couple of moves.

so they all get trials, appeals, etc.

how long is it going to take to convict and deport each one? how many clinton appointed federal judges will we have to wade through to make it happen?

Why the hell are we Americans not taking a few days off, even at the risk of loosing our job, to have an ARMED march on Washington!

LOL!

"Why?"

Because they would mow us down like curs, that's why.

Google up the "Bonus March" some time.

You are relying upon short-term political motivations to undermine an entire legal system nearly 300 years in the making. Consider, if you will, what your probable reaction would be if a Hillary Clinton administration were to utilize the same approach you are advocating. No thank you.

There was a movie with a similar theme a number of years back, which you might find interesting. It is called "A Man for All Seasons" Check it out.

Principle is worth fighting for. Expediency, which is what you are advocating, is an incredibly slippery slope.

once the media starts airing reports of women and children being herded from courtrooms onto buses, headed for the border (and what makes you think mexico will take them back?) - public opinion will flip on this in 24 hours, and you'll have americans supporting amnesty.

I call BS on that.

This is WAY past the point that "the public" can be swayed by crap like that. It's way past the point where WHAT "the public" wants MATTERS -- and they know it.

People are livid. You show them what you just described and there'd be dancing in the streets over it.

People are angry as hell, because they finally figured out that "their voice" means NOTHING.

the employer stuff you mention - no one will worry about that. no one will blink at enforcement of zoning laws, where these people live 40 to a house or 20 to an apartment. fine the landlords, arrest them. we can incentivize the status quo to get many illegals to deport themselves, without a roundup, and millions of trials, appeals, etc.

Once again, I call BS. NWIH are "average working stiffs" gonna turn down THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of tax-free award money, theirs for the slight effort of making one phone call.

Get real -- and stop spouting BS agitprop!

People, this is not that hard. Ignore this felony stuff. Insist on a border security only bill. Emphasis on ONLY. Seal the border and some given number of illegals will be stupid enough to go home to a wedding or a funeral and not be able to return. That will cut 20% off the total by itself, given IQ distributions in a population.

Don't go for everything because you're not going to get it. The right mantra is . . . "guest workers and the rules for them are simply TOO COMPLEX to deal with without extensive study. For now, let's just fund enforcement and border security and fund a few studies and see what's what in 5 yrs."

That's the right approach. If you don't think the border will be sealed, well then you don't think any bill that might be passed would be enforced regardless so you're not a player.

Wow, you're a regular wind-em-up talkin'-points machine. Do you post for a living?

I guess you're right. It's HARD to enforce laws! We'd better just stop "criminalizing" crime, period! Look at all the time and money that's wasted going after petty thieves, burglars, carjackers, muggers, etc.

LOL! The scary part is that SOME people read your crap and swallow it! But then, that's why you post it, n'est ce pas? LMAO!

I still can't see the feasibility of trying to deport millions of illegals.

If we are serious about enforcing our own laws, we must deport people who break into our country.

Ain't gonna happen. The agenda is to have a single "border" around Canada, the USA, and Mexico. THAT is why they will NOT do anything effective to fix the Mexican border.

This is not conjecture. It is documented fact. Check the Whitehouse and CFR websites. The plan is thoroughly documented.

maybe you would be dancing in the street, but I guarantee you that any kind of "military style" forced deportation is exactly what the Dems are dreaming of. this is why the Dems themselves voted for the felony provision.

I am familiar with the bonus march. That doesn't mean there are not things worth fighting for or in this case, demonstrating for. I just get frustrated that a bunch of illegals can take a couple days off to take over the most powerful nation in the world by scarring the Senate, And we "lazy Americans " would rather loose the country because we have to work, or I cant spare the vacation time or Johny can't miss softball practice! Again, Why do we have a second amendment. What event or government atrocity would be so severe that a show of arms would be warranted if not this? Washington DC should be in complete gridlock for at least ten miles around the capitol until the border is secured and illegals deported, by millions of pissed off Americans!

I see you offered no answers, just a personal attack.

do we give them all trials? appeals? when arrested and charged, they get full access to the justice system, right? do you have any idea what a maze the immigration law is? or are we going to toss those out too as part of your "plan"? how many years to litigate that through the federal courts before its enforceable?

I didn't say I would be dancing in the street -- I simply said there'd be dancing in the street. The "Great Middle" has been awakened by this, and they are PISSED OFF. They are pissed off over the invasion, they are pissed off over the sellout, and they are pissed off over the realization that THEY do NOT matter to "their" government.

We are talking IMMENSE numbers of CITIZENS, far, far larger than the "mere" tens of millions of criminal aliens who have "taken to the streets" to thumb their noses in our faces as they issue their terms of surrender to us.

The ONLY reason that the criminal aliens have NOT been subjected to the same kind of enforcment that OTHER criminals experience, is because "Middle America" does NOT have a voice.

Now, you wake up a couple hundred million people, let 'em know that they're getting screwed, bigtime, AND that they have NO say in it, and THEY*WILL*BE*PISSED!

And we'll be lucky if they are SATISFIED with merely dancing in the street at the deportation of the invaders.

We are on the brink of major ugly. I fear for what's to come.

BTW, nice punt, reframing the topic away from my question, to avoid answering it. So, we still don't know if you post for a living. Slick!

You are playing with fire, friend.

The ONLY thing you would accomplish, besides getting a lot of people killed, would be the immediate passage of gun control legislation the likes of which you'd never imagined possible, and quite likely, a martial law lockdown "until the leaders can be rounded up."

Amazing how the Republicans are siding with the non-citizens against the citizens.

Paranoid as well as anagonistic, are ya?

I made no personal attack. If you think I did, you need to take a few deep breaths, maybe step away from the keyboard for a while. Oh, and do try to remember to answer my question, OK? You know, the one you keep DODGING, by either reframing the topic, or, trying to put me on the defensive with FRAUDULENT ACCUSATIONS like the one above?

do we give them all trials? appeals? when arrested and charged, they get full access to the justice system, right? do you have any idea what a maze the immigration law is? or are we going to toss those out too as part of your "plan"? how many years to litigate that through the federal courts before its enforceable?

Since I've tired of answering your questions over and over again, and having YOU refuse to address ANYTHING that I've asked, I'll just let that l'il bolus hang in the wind by its lonesome, champ.

Not really.

I can think of lots of adjectives to apply to the situation, but "amazing" isn't really among 'em.

The only "demonstration" that matters is our vote in November. And you'll bet I'm protesting. BIG TIME.

You know, I pointed out earlier today that I know Captain Hyperbole personally...he is a mentor of mine.

And I am not exactly sure that even HE would approve of your comment. It seems way, way over the top.

Then we have already lost. We have been pansied out of existence by decades of liberal mindset and brainwashing. The same gun control laws you say would be proposed after such an event, would be another of those completely unacceptable, armed demonstration worthy events. I am thinking of my children's and grandchildrens future in a country controlled by the soon to be Hispanic political system, in the new socialist republic Amexica. Will some one give me some example of an issue YOU would be willing to bear arms for?
