This is just further proof that the 9/11 Commission was a sham to cover-up for the Clintonistas.

I'm still waiting for the MSM to do a major story/documentary on why we did not accept Osama when he was offerred by Sudan during the Clinton years.

If Osama's in a jar of formaldehyde somewhere in the Pentagon that's fine with me...

That will air right after the study of how Vince Foster died.

and the thing to keep in mind, through all that was happening...embassy's...USS Cole...first WTC bombing...Sudanese offerings...George Tenet and clinton only met TWO (2) TIMES FACE TO FACE, over a more than 2 year period
Which speaks for itself when considering just how much clinton really wanted to do.........

(I can't stress enough how much I despise clinton)

I am like the only person in this insane world that knows the Clintons are trying to destroy our country overtly.

I agree with you to a point, but I think that BJ, Hitlery and their minions were primarily interested in power and money, harming or helping America was not really a consideration. I do believe that the Peanut Farmer was overtly trying to destroy America.

I agree. Again, why has NO ONE is the MSM done a documentary with interviews from ALL the players (including State Dept, Def Dept, CIA, FBI, any and all diplomats, Sudanese officials, etc) to discuss why Clinton did not accept Osama.

The minimal coverage that has been given to this issue quotes Clinton as saying (paraphrasing here as I do not have the exact quote), "He did not commit any crimes against the US, so we didn't accept him." Of course, Clinton had to ignore the 1993 WTC attack to make that shameless and outrageous comment.

So why has no one (even some straight-shooters like FOX, Ollie North, Brit Hume, etc.) not done a full, complete story on this occurrence--as a way of highlighting Slick's TRUE LEGACY, and the national security mess that he left President Bush to clean up?

Did the U.S. Save Osama bin Laden?

Clearly, Clarke saved Bin Ladin's life. And he saved the lives of Bin Ladin's enablers. And he went on to blow classified information and ruin a classified surveillance operation when he informed UAE that we were watching them.

Clarke should be in jail for that one.

I addressed this very issue in other thread here on FR. I wish that someone had contacts with someone in the MSM to do that very story. I can't even believe how little coverage is gets. It gets only minimal, passing mention in the media.

I SALUTE YOU AND SUPPORT YOUR EFFORTS IF YOU COULD DO THAT!!

If you in fact do that, I'd like to offer a book (DERELICTION OF DUTY) by Buzz Patterson to start with. Buzz was one of Slick's military aides--and he discusses another chance that Slick had to kill Bin Laden in 1998.

Pages 129-131 discuss how Slick's unavailability (who knows what he was doing) for an hour and his indecision allowed Bid Laden to escape in 1998 when Sandy Berger and Slick had Osama pinpointed during a two-hour window in which they could have taken Osama out. This was another chance--in addition to the Sudanese offer.

Buzz also has another good book out (RECKLESS DISREGARD) describing his time in the Clinton administration.

I agree that Clarke was most directly involved in this series of blunders, but there can be no doubt that Sandy Burglar and Bill Clinton were fully briefed and were most certainly the ones blocking any action that might affect ties with the UAE. Slick Willie was not thinking so much about the F-16 deal (an appalling act of misjudgment in itself, to let an Islamo-fascist state have our very latest radar and electronics, even if they did pay for the Block 60 upgrades).

I'm sure that Slick was thinking more about the millions he could rake in for his "library" (monument to onanism) and the future $300,000 "speaker fees" he could command from the UAE if he did nothing to rile them up. Why kill Bin Laden when it might affect his personal bottom line?????
