What would be nice is if since so many of us can't make it to D.C. for the trip...how about state chapters hold 3-4 hr rallies on the same day in different parts of the state? Like in Florida for example where we have a ton of Freepers...we could have one for South Florida and one for Central Florida so those from the west coast could drive over to the Miami/Ft.Laud area and Palm Beach south. Orlando could draw in from Jacksonville/Daytona/Melbourne/Tampa etc..

Something to ponder...something I would show up at...and bring people with me.

Most Americans are on the same side of this issue as you are, but if you allow your stance to be framed through the prism of the MSM, you can see that support fall away rapidly.

If what you said is fact, then the support should already be ashes in the wind, because the MSM prism has shown America the illegal rallies and the supposed massive support for the illegals.

Why don't we all just sit on our asses, afraid to do or say anything that the MSM might use against to make us look weak?

Citizenship means we get to lose our jobs when the illegals arrive at our workplaces.

It also means that we get to pay to feed the illegal aliens' kids at school. And we get to pay to educate them; some of us citizens also get to subsidize their post-secondary educations.

Oh, citizenship also means that we get to pay higher hospital and physician bills to cover those illegal aliens who don't pay for the services.

I'm so very happy about the whole thing that I don't want to pussyfoot around with half-measures anymore. Where can I go to turn over my entire paycheck to help all the folks who don't give one damn about our laws?

When the asshats showed up at the Vice President's residence a few Saturday's ago, TWO of us showed up, me and AllRightAlltheTime.
The sight of two counter-protesters, holding signs supporting the President and the WOT, was enough to bring out the worst in the asshats.

We got more airtime, POSITIVE airtime, than the moonbats, and we were cuter.
Well, ARATT was cuter.
Protest Warrior got name recognition on the 6 o'clock news.

Bottom line is this:
We don't have to show up to show the world what a bunch of losers and flakes these people are, but it's a lot more fun to do it in person, up close and personal, and see the meltdowns close-up.
I wouldn't trade the last 6 months for anything.
It's almost as much fun as sex.

I have every confidence in the world that Kristinn will be able to effectively communicate our opinion to anyone who bothers to listen. He's got a damn good history of representing conservative ideals with the media. So, even if no other "supporters" show up that day - he'll make mincemeat of the opposition's arguments/talking points/BS with the media.

I've got a few more details to work out with the Park Service before the formal announcement. Look for that sometime Thursday.

Good grief! You don't want to adopt the "tactics of our enemies"? With all due respect, what are you doing now?

I can assure you that many of the people out supporting the illegals have jobs, kids and other stuff they have to do to. Thats why they are controlling the debate because too many on our side think they are winning the issue by being nice little passive bystanders. You are not winning any brownie points by not showing up! If making your voice heard over these guys is just too beneath you, then just say it.
