Unlike you, I won't lump you into some group,
(although I suspect you tend to have very socialist leanings)

Can you honestly answer the following for me:

1: Do you support giving Medicare benefits to non-citizens?

2: Would you support giving Social Security benefits to retiring illegal aliens who have paid, using someone else's SS#?

3: Do you think illegal aliens are entitled to a free education, welfare, and health care?

4: What social benefits (if any)would you deny to those who have entered the country without obtaining permission?

5: What penalty, (if any) would you mete out to illegal aliens who are using stolen, fraudulent, or forged identification?

---------------------------------------- These are straightforward questions, and I look forward to some straightforward answers from you.

If they are illegal, then there is no way for them to earn a living here without breaking the law.

Under-the-table wages or low-skill labor does very little to contribute and the cost far outweighs any benefits. Amnesty talk only sends the message "COME ON DOWN!" and I preferred the message "if you are here illegally, your days are numbered".

What's wrong with sending them back to their own country and making them responsible for building a better life for themselves there? Because many come to this country not for work...just an invasion by non-military means (they know they'd get their tails kicked and lose more turf) promoted by their government to get rid of the "undesirables".

Since the Mexican illegal is topic of discussion this week, it's their "government" which promotes breaking our laws...and shows them how to undermine this country by bleeding us dry. To send foreign agents to undermine this country from within is an Act of War.

The "economic" and amnesty argument says breaking the law is okay, regardless how neatly packaged. If I don't like the speed limit...does that mean I can drive 100 MPH through your neighborhood and not expect consequences? I'm sure your neighbors wouldn't mind.

Plenty of citizens working under the table and under radar of taxes, but it's not low-skilled labor that drives the economy. The boom comes from people having more money in their pockets to buy stuff. If all the illegals went home tomorrow, nothing would change except there would be plenty of unskilled labor jobs available.

Apparently deportation isn't working...nor is jailing them. Stiffer punishments for both the illegal and those who'd employ them isn't going to work if not enforced or if business doesn't do what it's supposed to when screening applicants - hire citizens or go through proper procedures for hiring non-citizens.

Anyone who rewards an illegal with a job is guilty of helping that illegal stay here and should be tossed out too. Citizenship is earned, not given and if they were valuable to business and only wanted to work, they would stay where we are sending much of our manufacturing - Mexico!

You want to see the biggest economic boom in history, eliminate the IRS and let people keep their own money. Eliminate union dues and other kickbacks to the DNC, so the DUmocrats may be forced to be honest for a change.

Another sure-fire method for a big boost to the economy is to put a bounty on the head of illegals and those who support them, allow ranchers to defend their property, wipe out the thugs who run the flesh trade on both sides of the border, and EMPLOY AN AMERICAN FIRST (rather than allow business to seek kickbacks or amnesty for employing illegals) as policy.

Have the INS in force at the "protests" and round up the illegals and deport them - since they are gathering, it should make easy work of the job at hand. When their military crosses our border or shoots at our border agents, they are wiped of the face of the earth. That would make a difference in sending the right message.

Maybe McLoon (and other illegal appeasers promoting amnesty) could retire from the senate and start that cabbage farm he's always dreamed of.

"But a new party that wasn't simply the party of big business, and didn't have the Republicans history..."

Some on FR need to read up on that:

DUmocrats see minorities as nothing more than tokens to keep them in power positions.

I'll be glad to debate any of those issues with you. I'll let you lead off.

I'm not interested in debating those questions with you.
I only asked what your position was.
Is it that difficult for you to state your position on those issues?
I'll ask the questions again:

1: Do you support giving Medicare benefits to non-citizens?

2: Would you support giving Social Security benefits to retiring illegal aliens who have paid, using someone else's SS#?

3: Do you think illegal aliens are entitled to a free education, welfare, and health care?

4: What social benefits (if any)would you deny to those who have entered the country without obtaining permission?

5: What penalty, (if any) would you mete out to illegal aliens who are using stolen, fraudulent, or forged identification?

3 of the 5 are yes or no answers, unless you care to elaborate.

I have no doubt that, in your mind, it appears straightforward. But I can look at those questions and know that they are based on faulty predications and premises. Some and maybe most, I can even recognize.

LOL! Aristotle, is that you?
You escaped into philosophy in order to avoid stating your opinion about whether illegals should be eligible for social benefits, SSI, and etc...LOL!!!

wow...Ben, you are more slippery then a greased eel.
Truth is all a matter of degrees with you, then?
...OK...

It's been noted that you won't give a straightforward answer to those straightforward questions, so I can't see the point in debating the subject with you, Ben.

By the way, Ben, speaking of "faulty predications and premises ", I notice you have no problem delineating the "anti's" all into one little defined, and succinct group, and then passing judgment on *them*...

I find *that* "predication" VERY interesting.

"delineating the anti's all into one little defined group"

The political process has boiled the anti's down to one defined group, not me. That would be the "get tuf" house bill.

As for your lame questions, we can be more thorough with the question, " what is the economic impact of illegal aliens"?

I know that you have your ideas about this that probably originate with VDare or other anti-immigrant websites.

As for me, I will continue to rely on the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank as a more credible source that contradicts you. Of course, there are other credible sources that confirm.

As for you, you don't even have a clue as to how this "economic impact " is measured.

Hey, Ben:
Your puffed up attitude is very revealing...
You are an insecure little weasel, with a superiority complex.

I asked you 5 questions. You refused to answer even one of them, including whether you supported any penalties for those who "are using stolen, fraudulent, or forged identification"

Instead, you slithered around with some psychobabble about "faulty predications and premises ", THEN, you bring up some canard about the: "Dallas Federal Reserve Bank as a more credible source"

???

Crimes of stolen Id's and forged documents have NOTHING to do with "economic impact ".

TRY to be a MAN, Ben Ficklin, instead of a sniveling little...*WEASEL*.

To ALL: below are questions that Ben Ficklin refuses to answer:

1: Do you support giving Medicare benefits to non-citizens?

2: Would you support giving Social Security benefits to retiring illegal aliens who have paid, using someone else's SS#?

3: Do you think illegal aliens are entitled to a free education, welfare, and health care?

4: What social benefits (if any)would you deny to those who have entered the country without obtaining permission?

5: What penalty, (if any) would you mete out to illegal aliens who are using stolen, fraudulent, or forged identification?
