OK - speedboat size, not really "military" though size is no longer that much of a consideration in a new move fast, destroy and move out again set of tactics coming to the fore.
Actually, you are right, about the size of their home made submarine.

[Ailing from terminal cancer with perhaps as little as six months to live, the Supreme Ruler faces a challenge from his former supporter and now declared antagonist, Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi, whose 12th Imam apocalypse and Armageddon mind sets were too weird even for Khomeini...
As the spiritual mentor for President Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad, Mesbah Yazdi has emerged as the power behind the throne and counts on the support of the Revolutionary Guard (Pasdaran) commanders Ahmadi-Nejad has placed in virtually every executive position of power in his administration.]
This would seem to be fraught with portent (= very bad).

My education included Shakespeare in his original English . And great writers of the Victorian era, who would be likely to use "great portent", actually even in the Edwardian period.
Thanks for the reply. Enormous portent!

It is no secret that Iran already has nukes.

Ping
However, with Ahmadi-Nejad and his spiritual advisor Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi at the helm, the Iranian demonstration could speculatively be dropping a nuclear bomb on Israel and then basking in the Islamic fervor and congratulations this would bring them.

Iran has recently been announcing that it will show the world something incredible.
Here is something incredible, named Mike.

North Koreans are in no position to sell nukes, at least not yet - they do not have that many, and if all they have is something like 5 or 10, they'd hold to them all.

If Iran actually has working nuclear weapons, Iran would have completed an underground test detonation by now to establish a nuclear deterrent. IMO, this article is complete BS.

It never ceases to amaze me how you manage to insist or imagine everyone should approach matters they way you would if you were in their shoes.
Do you have any idea how an Iranian mind works? Specially of the Ayatollah variety? Of the Hojatieh subspecies?
YOU would want a nuclear deterrent. THEY do NOT. Quite the contrary. No B.S. other than when seen through your eyes.

OK, forget about nuclear deterrents. Maybe the Iranian ayatollahs don't think that way. Just give me one credible intelligence source (other than Alan Peters) which has concluded that Iran has working nuclear weapons.

And I'm not talking about nuclear junk that Iran bought from some KGB agents in some scam.

North Korea was reverse engineering and engineering, not selling their own. Iran already had the "explosive" part but not the nose cone technology. :-))

Great photo. You should take a look at a graphic on http://www.antimullah.com via the blog link to Alan's Graphics for a large shot of nukes going off. Posted today I think with a title like "Iran's near future" or something like that.
