The real problem is that we need to change the overall process...i.e. have term limits. If not, the conservatives go soft once they are in leadership roles (well, most non-leaders do after just 2-4 years in washington. Just look at Lott... before he was a leader he was one of the most conservative Senators. He was a true hero.

Nobody seems to question that this so-called compromise is absolutely unenforceable.

Who is going to verify how long an illegal alien has been in the country? People who broke the law to trespass into our country are not going to volunteer information that would get them thrown out. This is absolutely ridiculous. It is a sham!

What the.....those were illegals the Senate was listening to. And how does Kennedy go about listening to people in their churches? Any why are people talking during church, anyway?
