And I also have to tell folks reading this thread that a group of four (IIRC) Catholic University kids arrived after the GHF lunatics had run away. They were late getting to our Freep, having gotten stuck in traffic from Capitol Hill. They said that about 60 of their classmates had given the GHF crowd an earful at their Hill protest.
So Phelps' crew got hit with a double whammy today... first by 60 Catholic U. students on the Hill, and then by 31 (+/-) of us at WRAMC.
Phelps and crew are possessed of demons.
P.S. There was one Freeper whose name we don't have on the honor roll, and my memory sucks. BillF, BufordP, did you get the tall gentleman's name? He was helping us put up the MOAB and then he was trying to steady it in the wind before we took the legs off it? Was wearing a beige cap? Mr. Unknown Freeper, if you're reading this, sing out and get your thank yous. I'll be the first... Thank you for coming out and standing with us!

I can't thank you all enough for your work at Walter Reed today. Your counterprotest was priceless, and it seems, very effective in stealing the Phelpsians' thunder.
A kid from my town arrived at WR this week with both legs in bad shape from a driveby shooting of his guard post. He had been in Iraq for just a couple of weeks. The docs at Reed are doing their best to save both his legs.
I hope his mom didn't have to walk or drive by those creeps on her way to visit him today.
