- Choice implies knowing what the options are. In all the stories that I've read to date on this issue, the MSM seems to view immigration as purely a Republican concern. All reports stress Republican divisions, splits, a threat to Bush, etc. Apparently, the Democratic Party has no such split, or at least they aren't telling anyone their views and the MSM never asks or reports what they are.
There is no question in my mind that the MSM is playing this story so as to portray Republicans as right wing racist bigots in the hope of hiving off the Latino vote and deliver it, as a block, to the Democratic Party. Then, with the combined black and Latino voters solidly in the Dems camp, you won't ever see another Republican President again in your lifetime.
