The President is a transnationalist.
Excerpts from the article (by John Leo):
"They [transnationalists] are increasingly detached from their fellow citizens and drawn to an international culture"
"In the transnational view, patriotism, assimilation and cultural cohesion are obsolete concerns. Borders and the nation-state are on the way out. Transnational flows of populations are inevitable. Workers will move in response to markets, not old-fashioned national policies on immigration."
"More broadly, it [transnationalism] indicates a cosmopolitan elite with a declining allegiance to the place where they live and work, and a feeling that nationalism and patriotism are part of the past.
as if I didn't feel detached from my government already...nothing like rubbing that old salt in the freshly opened wound, huh? ;-)
Hey, guys. We're on our own. Call in the militia. The militia is protected under the 2nd Amendment. ("A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed")
The legal definition of "Militia is "the military force of the nation, consisting of citizens called forth to execute the laws of the Union, suppress insurrection and repel invasion."
Sounds good so far...except...
Legally speaking, in order to be protected under the constitution, Congress must call forth the militia (Art. 1, s. 8, 14).
I think we should lobby congress to call forth the militia!!! I think our neighbors south of the border need to experience a repeat of what we did to the British in 1780 and Pres. Fox needs to feel the American rath, just as Cornwallice did in his surrender at Yorktown. This time, however, we cannot rely on the French to come to our rescue! Hahahahahahahahaha!!! They have their own invasion/socialism to deal with!
