California is one of the most beautiful states in the Union. Plus its the breadbasket of the US.

Because illegals or no it is still a vital part of our economy. We don't want to handover Silicon Valley and the California high tech industries to another country. Nor do we want to hand over the agriculture.

I agree, I'm not willing to give up an inch of America.

All you have to do is drop LA and SF into the Pacific.
Nonurban California is pretty conservative as witnessed by my Republican majority county.

If only you knew how many Californians cringe when you mention that city as being representative of California.

I have lived in California my whole life. Almost everyone I know is Conservative. We want these illegals out of here. Its the government and the media that is not supporting us. We do not want to give an inch of our state to them, THEY need to leave. It would be nice if the rest of the country would stop thinking we are all wackos. LA and San Francisco are relatively small portions and that is where the wackos are. We are Reagan country....and don't forget the home of FR too.

oigh!
FR and h ollywood all in the same state. who'd a thunk?

I couldn't have said it better. Only difference is, hubby and I are ceding California to the Mexicans. We are leaving. Good luck with your fight.

Hear, hear.
Don't forget the wackos in SACRAMENTO.
Tom McClintock for governor!

What's interesting is that the Maxine Waters variety of Southern California politicos haven't quite popped wise to the fact that being black no longer will fly as a tool to get elected....they'll get a clue come their next election cycles.

Everyone who considers themselves a part of Western Civilization should read the prophetic book, "Camp of the Saints" by Jean Raspail. It was first published in France in 1973, and was just recently translated into English. I'm almost finished with it and it's stunning in it's accuracy of predicting what is now happening. The author even named his ficticious pope, Benedict XVI. He also had the leftists down pat.
Within 25-50 years there will be no Western Civilization. Even Russia is being invaded.

Not sure I agree with this article in that the way I read it, it associates legitimate, legal Hispanic culture with illegal immigration. The erasing of this line is killing our arguments. We should embrace 'legal' Hispanic culture in the US and reward those who have come here legally. It is an insult to US Hispanic culture as a whole to link them in-toto with illegal immigration. All this does is make this a fight between euro-centric US and Hispanic US, which it is not.
