Do you think we should all stop working for one day and march by the millions on Washington? Our politicians seem to respect only numbers. Let's see what happens when America won't run. I think it could be a very powerful message. Should we get organized like the Invasion Lobby? Something to definitely think about.

As you say, something to think about.

We could also spend a day - or a week - without purchasing anything but the bare necessities.

The other day I was at the self check out lane at the store and was thinking how stupid it was to have English and mexican on the machine. Does it really need to be in mexican in order to zip-beep manudo?

I thought of the mexican labor walk outs I've read about before and thought it would be cool if we could flip the English Only switch for a couple of days while they do their walk out. Too bad there is no switch.

I think it's a good idea, but hard to implement because of the fact that we ARE Americans and have responsibilities that we will not shirk.

That being said, I have been thinking along similar lines but more of "A Day Without Income Taxes". Now that IMO would make the mopes in Congress, oops, our elected Representatives, sit up and take notice. As if every American took off a day without pay, and the gubmint got zero income tax for one single day - which they direly need to 'feed the beast', they'd go apoplectic.

Joseph Farah has finally lost it.

The next thing he will do is take a 357 magnum to his
engine block to protest not finding a good mechanic.
Or give his children up for adoption to keep them
from becoming juvenile delinquents.

It's the Crazy Bowlegged Chinese school of logic.

How about a day without welfare benefits, ER services and no illegals crossing our borders!

Yawn............... I'm afraid you have jumped more than a shark with this idea. Looks more like a phobia gone wild (for about the 5th time) and the sad thing is that all of the Republican party has been smeared by the actions and hyperbolic nonsense of the far right.

What you have initiated is the usual and only fix that is available for use by the party.

That fix is to cut off the part that offends thee....

Too bad, but I suppose it had to happen. The party suffers from growing pains in the efforts to win elections, and some adjustments are needed and will certainly occur now.

Enjoy your march to political irrelevancy as Pat Buchannon should be able to explain to you if he had a lick of sense..

Actually, I think we should see to it that the "day without latinos" is like DU's "not another dime" day.
Anyone (including latinos) who is or wants to be American, should go to work and shop or whatever they would normally do, and make the day without latinos a big fizzle.

"If the illegal alien agitators want to have a "Day Without Latinos," I would suggest we plan a much bigger event – one that would truly bring this country to its knees for one day. Let's organize a "Day Without Americans."

I typically don't go for things like this, or boycotts, or mass mailings to elected losers.

If we can agree to all go to the pub instead of to work, I might get with the program............
